Huobi Thailand launched a new crypto exchange where users can buy different cryptocurrencies using Thai baht. They plan to join the country's local payment systems in the future. So far, there seems to be no censorship on cryptocurrencies by Thai authorities and that's a good thing.

I have traded cryptocurrencies couple of times in Huobi global exchanger site and the trade was really smooth. It's good to hear they are making it possible to buy cryptocurrencies using fiat money of a particular country.

This sounds good. Nothing is as good as having a payment system that is very easy to navigate and make payment easily.

Well this is cool I would have love to know if other currency are also listed on the site apart from the Thailand currency

Well, I think this is normal because apart from fiat currency, it will be difficult for people to buy cryptocurrency especially newbies.

It's a good one that Thai land isn't giving any conflicting issues like other countries even my country. I hope other countries will be begin to be civil about this situation

I believe that other countries will follow suit , it is just a matter of time before they will see what they are missing out on , and will thus adopt it

I hope very soon they come to the realization and do the right thing. Theres so much the crypto world has to offer which these countries need to key in

I think Thailand has been in a serious for Crypto currencies so such trading using their local currency won't be a big issue at all.

Sure , but then they should have a counter measure ,because if it happens that all the citizens stores their money I'm cryptocurrency , there are bound to be challenges for money circulation in the country

This is like future forecast because right now some people will still be skeptical about Crypto currencies so not all will invest now in Crypto currencies.

Buying with their local currency would strengten their currency exchange , than buying with a foreign currency , its an advantage and the government is doing a great job

This is true, Crypto currency dealings with reduced the dependency on foreign currency but if this government denied them and they don't have Peer to peer they will seek for forex to buy bitcoin.

Yeah I think this is the other side of the coin. This might even cause inflation too. So maybe creating a balance will be more helpful in a situation like this

This where regulations comes to play. Government can't achieve anything by banning cryptocurrency , but stands to gain a lot by allowing it

If Crypto currency continue to grow may be in the next five years all countries may not have choice but to allow it transaction and they regulate it.

Yeah I agree with you. It will be a lot better if the government put in place some regulations to help sort things than outrightly banning crypto currency

It is a function of understanding . Some government never look into cryptocurrency ,to understand what it is all about but went straight towards banning them .

Well, I am happy for the Thai government that it has not "closed" to cryptocurrencies (as Nigeria has done so far).
However from what I read, the Huobi Thailand, even though it appears to have an address (from what I can see). but it doesn't appear to be a real bank, but a centralized exchange node.
For this reason I ask: will it use only the Thai currency Baht for exchanges, or will it also accept any real world currency to be exchanged in Bitcoin?
Thank you.
