Eric Adams is the next mayor-elect of the New York City. In an interview with news agency, CNN, the mayor suggested the addition of crypto and blockchain curriculum into the school system there. This will promote both crypto and blockchain as the future way of sending and receiving money. He doesn't explain whether the curriculum will be implemented in primary, high school, or tertiary-level education.

I actually do want school to adopt it more , because they would actually let the Future generation know about Bitcoin ,and thus increase the awareness

It is a good move for schools to adopt cryptocurrencies. It will be a great thing to teach the students the methods of investing in it so that they grow up having knowledge on financial management.

I'm in support of this if other monies were studied then there's no reason why same can't be done for crypto currency. So I'm good with the idea and believed students need to know this

I could agree with this, especially that cryptocurrency is becoming more mainstream and the support for crypto and demand for it is growing over time, more and more companies are supporting crypto

I think everyone need to support this it is a laudable thing when it will be fully carried out. Crypto currency needs to be well known and this will happen with massive creation of awareness

Good initiative, I agree. Students need educational curriculum inclusive of economics and finances and it must be updated. Cryptocurrencies can't left behind, as indispensable tools of the new economy.

This is cool, will it be considered a compulsory or not compulsory subject? And also hope its not going to go against the national school curricular activities? Or even probably some cities in the usa might begin to adopt this same idea. At the end hope it is now implemented into the right level of education or are they yet to implement it?

Part of the things we are suffering presently is our negligence of certain information in it's season. A lot of us missed crypto currency at it's budding stage and entered when it was already saturated. However, we still have the opportunity to be aware of recent blockchain and crypto events. We also owe it as a duty to educate our children and prepare them to be ready. The earlier, the better. They're are many opportunities waiting to be explored and it's right we expose kids to them.

I guess that this is a great move. We have seen many companies or firms providing education about stock trading to students. They have been offering grants and introducing courses related to the stock market. if they can offer such kind of curriculum that are related to share trading, then I hope that cryptocurrency trading courses will definitely prove to be beneficial to many students.

I think that the early that kids are introduced into the cryptocurrency world then the more interest that there will be when it comes to these coins and how they are used as well. And i think that this will also help witht eh development of the coins as well because kids tend tohave good ideas when it comes to future developments.

I mean why not? Schools should be able to teach finance to every student. Teaching them about crypto currency can be beneficial go them in the future. It can teach them how to invest for their future unlike before that not everyone is capable of doing such thing.

Yes, I know. Being aware makes us much better at dealing with the things that are related to us. This is why I always remain updated with the latest news regarding cryptocurrencies. Reading news regularly and staying updated with the recent trends has saved me many times. In fact, now it is a part of my trading strategy to get the latest news about cryptocurrencies.

It's good to be updated with information very early. Riches doesn't come from money alone, getting access to information and acting on it is one. Just imagine what would have happened if we were opportuned to partake in early crypto currency launches then. It's very difficult now to get something worthwhile now because crypto is saturated now. The competition is too much. Wish the hands of time can be turned back.

To be honest i have found that a lot of the topics that are being taught at school at the moment serves little to no purpose and therefore those people that are learning it, or rather the kids, don't use it later on in their life. However if you have to teach them about the core thigs like this then it will surely help them in their development.

well I believe it would be really beneficial , I guess am happy there are actually plenty of place to buy different cryptocurrency courses online , like cousera and the rest , if the school is not willing to teach the student , obviously they could actually learn cryptocurrency elsewhere

I think what the major is trying to point out is that, its high time we begin to teach our children about cryptocurrency, and the educational institutions to include it in their curriculum, so that the young once will know good side and bad side of cryptocurrency, and they will not fall victim to scamers.

Well, getting information and seeking the right kind of advice is one of the main things many investment companies do. Many investment companies trade in cryptocurrencies and those firms usually hire expert cryptocurrency analysts, investment associates, finance managers, and other people who handle the trading for the day.

Ya most of these privy information is what is keeping these companies afloat. It's nice parents teach their children about modern finance. The world is changing rapidly and most ideas then are now obsolete. Crypto and blockchain is shaping the way things are done and will run financial systems in the coming years. Good thinking from the mayor to introduce crypto studies in schools.
