cPanel is raising its prices and starting to charge per account. For those of you guys with dirt cheap shared webhosting plans or reseller plans, be prepared for incoming price hikes.

Are you guys searching for any alternatives?

In my opinion a great paid alternative to cPanel is Plesk, on open source side of things I've yet to find a panel that is as good as cPanel. What saddens me more than lack of great cPanel competitors is that there are no great alternatives to WHMCS - Blesta is a strong open source competitor, but most modules are developed with WHMCS in mind so integrating things like control panels requires extra work from your side.

This will probably affect on free hostings to since most of them use Cpanel. Better they add some ads in it, than charge bigger fee. I hope price will not be to high.

cPanel and Plesk are owned by the same company since the begining of this year.
With that in mind, Plesk might raise it's prices too in the future.

Maybe owner will raise price for Cpanel and force users to jump on Plex. That move was often done by manufacturers. Maybe in long term plans owner want remove Cpanel as product.

I do not think cheaper hosting company will rise their costs because that already purchased in advance however those companies will start purchase cpanel next time will need or might pay the increased price.

Even though most companies have bought a year or two in advance, at some point their subscription to cpanel has to be renewed and this time at new rates, meaning prices will increase for consumers no matter what.

Yes, it's true that cPanel is raising its prices and will start charging per account. Some potential alternatives to cPanel i know include DirectAdmin, Plesk, ISPConfig, and Vesta Control Panel.

The recent changes to cPanel pricing have indeed raised concerns for those with budget hosting plans. Exploring alternatives is a wise move. You might consider open-source control panels like Webmin, Virtualmin, or other hosting management solutions to help mitigate the potential cost increases. Additionally, researching hosting providers with competitive pricing structures could be beneficial in this situation.
