I've been thinking I'd be giving free blogging a try for a long time, I did blogger a try in 2009 or 2010 but I was all over the place & it was a mess. So I'm thinking about it as a side hustle and business opportunities in future & all, but the problem is I'm flat broke, I don't have any money to spend on it, I don't have a laptop, I just have a smartphone. So free blog on blogger is one option for me, I know it's gonna be tough & I have to post at least 50 articles before even getting approved by AdSense but need suggestions guys. I spend 'time' on timebucks but I only have 3/4 dollars there, had a plan about buying a domain with tb money, but ya wanna hear from you guys.

Mistake to avoid while starting a blog:
1. Don't write about any random stuff that interests you. Try to identify what resonates with your audience.
2. Views visit the blogs to do research, search for information, etc. Try to write something informative or interesting.
3. Most of the viewers who visit your site won't read the full thing, if you want to keep them interested, you have to compel them to keep reading. To do so, avoid too stiff writing.

First and foremost, you don't need to be in a hurry to start blogging. You had some issues then with your old blog. Have you resolved that issue? If no, then what occurred then will repeat itself. Secondly, I'm against the idea of starting a free blog. Modern smartphones can open all browsers so can blog using a smartphone. Try save some little money and buy for yourself a shared hosting plan so you can get unlimited bandwidth, higher storage and full control of your blog.

Your advice is necessary for new bloggers. Many people jumped into blogging because of the bandwagon effect not because they have a passion. One can write about anything but the reader knows what interest him and he'll always go to where he finds it. I would even suggest new bloggers start building followers before starting a blog so they have a direction as well as free recurring traffic.

I think that when you are new to blogging, you may get disappointed too early as you may not get enough traffic initially. As a result, many bloggers stop blogging. This is the type of mistake that I made a few years ago. In order to truly generate traffic a person must never depend on search engine optimisation alone and they need to use social media to start generating traffic by marketing their blog.

You are still on the right pace. The mistakes are the evidences that you are trying but you haven't gotten it. You need to sit down and analyse your potential, source of income and your reward. You don't rush things in blogging. Money will come but not as quick as you can imagine.

When it comes to blogging, there are many things that you may need to consider. For example, you may need to make sure that you post content regularly, even after you gain traffic. If you do not post something new, the chances are that the traffic will nosedive.

@Ben Kempton. You are right. At least there should be 5 vidoes per week. We don't need to be waiting for our audience to ask before we give them the good content. And we must focus on how to use the right keyword.

The best advice to give a new blogger is to avoid unnecessary pressure. Just forget about income and focus on building your blog. If you're consistent, you'll realize that making profit will be easier for you.

If you are a newbie blogger, here are some suggestions to help you get started:

1- Choose a topic that interests you and that you are passionate about. This will help you stay motivated and will make your content more engaging.

2-Create a blog and decide on the platform you will use. WordPress and Blogger are two of the most popular options.

3-Create content that is interesting, informative, and relevant to your target audience.

4- Promote your blog using social media and other online platforms. This will help you reach more people and generate more readers.

5- Leverage SEO tactics to optimize your blog for search engines. This will help your blog show up higher in search results and attract more visitors.

6- Utilize analytics to track and measure your blog's performance. This will give you an insight into what works and what doesn't, allowing you to make improvements.

7-Interact with your readers and other bloggers. This will help build relationships, foster community, and increase engagement.

Yesterday, I stumbled upon a Youtube channel that had hundreds of thousands of subscribers. They uploaded a video after one whole year and within a few minutes they started to gain views. This suggest that if your channel is really popular, then you can make good money by regularly uploading videos.

Yes, it is true that , with the right approach, you can make good money by regularly uploading videos on a popular Youtube channel.
if your channel is popular, you need to have a good promotion strategy and use social media, SEO, and other marketing techniques to get your videos seen.

The good thing about YouTube is that it is a good example of passive income. Even the videos that you have made more than 5 years ago can still be generating income for you in as much it is still relevant currently.

Yes. However, if your channel is not popular, then you could have a harder time promoting videos and making money. This means that even if you upload videos regularly, then you will need to wait and promote your channel as much as you can.

Yes, If your YouTube channel is not popular, it can be more difficult to promote videos and make money. You may need to invest more time and effort into promoting your channel and increasing its visibility in order to get more views and subscribers. You canconsider collaborating with other YouTubers or influencers to help promote your channel and reach a larger audience.

As you start to create content, you should come up with a niche. Pick a particular area that you can write in depth about and make sure that you are going to be consistent as you write. Research your target audience. Find out what your target audience cares about and what kind of content would resonate with them most.

I think starting with a free platform like Blogger is a good choice. Youre right it will take time and effort but if youre consistent with your posts and provide valuable content you'll eventually be able to monetize it through AdSense.

Well, now there are so many bloggers who are also including video content on their blogs. This makes their blog look really professional and I have seen many people including videos. Do you think that it could be a really effective strategy to get more traffic?

First of all there are some questions that you should try and give answers to yourself. For example do you consider blogging as a fun activity or you want to earn from it? Do you have a very good niche? You can start with these first.
