I used to earn $5 a day easily. But when the forum content provider closed shop, I am now having a hard time in reaching that self-assigned quota. Submitting articles for earning was what I liked the most. You earn when your article is liked or commented by the others. There are several sites like that which I joined but they are slow earners now especially when there is not much traffic inside. One site I joined gets traffic by sharing my post in social media. I didn't like that scheme because it's like begging for likes. Besides, sharing and earning a fraction of cent is not worth the time.

I so agree with you @Alexandoy. Something about depending on others for earning just don't appeal to me either. To make things more difficult for me, I am not much of a social person and so my social circle is limited.

I rather sell my articles directly or go for other type of online earning.

That you daily target of $5 is well thought out. If you sign up with many different paying sites offering different kinds of tasks not just writing alone I am sure that will be achievable. Personally, when I write articles for other sites I really don't care if they share it on the social media platforms to get views, likes or comments, my main concern is how good is the pay. I am finding it a bit hard to name my daily target but so far on a poor day I am able to make $2 and on a very good day around $12. Maybe I should start with a daily target of $20.

Before, I also struggle earning $5 a day then I researched and I joined some Forum sites and writing websites wherein you will get paid for every articles you post. I also joined other PTC websites and surveys sites which are too slow so I stopped it because I thought it wasn't worth my time. Right now I'm currently working as a VA but for part time only and it isn't that much as well.

It's weird how difficult it is to make money online to be honest. I mean there are a few sites here and there that will allow you to make a decent amount but I don't think I have ever come across one method that allows me to make $5 daily. I just don't have the time either to concentrate so much effort on one task just to earn $5. I think the best thing for you to do is go o Fiverr and advertise your article writing.

I couldn't agree more, and it is harder than ever these days to earn as little as $5. When you look at the amount of jobs that are available online then you would think that it should be relatively easy, and $5 isn't exactly a lot but the rate of pay for most of the jobs on the internet is almost degrading.

A few years ago I could earn around $5 for a 500 word article whereas now you look on sites like Fiverr and people are offering 1000 and sometimes even 1500 word articles for $5 so it's hardly worth me bothering. I've no idea how good those articles are, but sadly a lot of people that are asking for the articles to be written don't care either. They're just happy that they are getting 1500 words for a s little as $5!

I think it's mainly because the number of people using the internet has increased drastically. People from third world countries can now access the internet which means that there are now more people competing to get that $5 online. Because there are more people, some will now try to cut out other people by offering slightly more for the same amount of money. I'm surprised that people actually care more about quantity than quality.

I think you are right the number of persons working online these days seem to have increased and that may mean many people hustling for the available online jobs. This can impact on how much job is available to you and how much you are able to make a day, but another good thing somehow is that the more opportunities to work and earn are coming up too. The sad aspect the pay online in most of the jobs are too low, a far cry from the efforts.

I don't think you can successfully set a target for how much you can earn online. Most well paying sites need you to market yourself and those that don't need marketing don't pay that much. I just appreciate what am able to earn for a day as I try to search for more sites.

While I do agree with you to some extent, these days with it being harder and harder to make money online, I do think that you need to set some sort of target otherwise you'll be wasting your time. If I just spend an hour a day doing whatever job comes along, then by the end of the week or month I'll have wasted my time as I'll be able to cash out about $2.

If you set yourself a target and only do the jobs that are high paying, that $2 will jump to $50 for spending the same amount of time online, and that's much more acceptable.

That is pretty impressive, and it makes me think back to my better days when it comes to online earning. I used to depend a lot more on it so of course I was more involved, but it also seems like there were some better opportunities back then. Either way, best of luck.

I'm guessing TFW will eventually have enough forums so people can make at least 5 USD daily. However, at the present time, it might be possible to do small jobs here and there to make up for the fact it's not possible to make 5 USD on TFW right now. Does anyone know of some good sites?

I think $5 per day is not a hard target to hit. There are plenty of opportunities to earn money online if your are willing to invest your time with dedication. Humanatic is one example. Yes, it is not easy to earn money there but with experience you can earn well there.

As OP rightly said all content service providers are closing down one by one and the most recent one was Postloop I guest. I was able to make close to $10 when Bubblews was online. In fact it was like a source of monthly income for many.

I think you should focus on a variety of sites like Humanatic, content service providers, survey sites and so son. After all it is not good to put all eggs in one basket.

I signed up for Humanatic and you are right, $5 a day is possible on there but only for the first few days and then the calls dry up. I know many people that this has happened to, and it seems to be all or nothing on there and you can either spend 24 hours earning $50 or spend 8 hour making 50 cents because you are constantly waiting for the calls to come through.

I would use Humanatic as more of a fallback...a site to have a look at every now and again and if there are calls on there then do the reviews but I certainly wouldn't sit there all day waiting for them to come through because you could be in for a long wait.

I think it is good if we can make $5 per day for online jobs, but at the moment, I don't think it's possible to me. I am not an expert in making money online, and the only time I earned more was when Bubblews was still around and at its peak. Now, I guess I can only target at $1 - $1.50 a day, with my busy offline duties as a stay at home mom.

Hope you will be able to hit the $5 daily target again soon.

Same here sir. I am actually aiming for more than $10, and I can easily reach that with Humanatic. However, the problem is calls are fewer now. Perhaps it is seasonal. I am in forum sites as well, but hardly reach the amount. I zm thinking of joining Postloop soon. Is it not too strict now?

@ipol12 I heard that Humanatic is a very good earning site, but it's sad to know there are fewer calls and I think that means you are earning much lesser. Hope there will be more calls soon.

I am not sure if Postloop is very strict now, but I suggest you to give it a try. We might be able to earn at least $2 a day from Postloop, as there are two forums that allow 10 posts per day each.

Yes. There are few calls on Humanatic. Usually, such months until September has lesser calls, but calls will come in as October comes.

Will try to join Postloop under you. Hope you can help me. :)

It is so hard to earn online. You have to distinguish between legit and scam site and have to work really hard to get paid. That's not really easy. I used to post in several forums earlier on Postloop but now there isn't that much forums over there. Besides I have been having some problems and I am not really using the site.

At least you have some forums to post and get credit out of them. I have none and no inspiration to do that.
