Aurelien Michel, the founder of the Mutant Ape Planet NFT project, was arrested at JFK International Airport in New York on January 4.

Michel is a French national and a resident of the UAE. He has been sued in the court of "James R. Cho" in the East District of New York.
Michel is accused of defrauding investors; he announced rewards to holders of his NFTs but pulled the rug out from under them after taking nearly $3 million.

Damn it's high time most of these crypto fraudsters are bought to the book for the damage they're doing to crypto. I think he must have organized a token sale following the success of the Nft and rugged the project.

Many crypto currency creators are scammers. Their intention of creating this projects is just to steal money and not to grow the project. That's why they abandon the project after mint and leave investors to their fate.
