Last weekend, a newly inaugurated Museum of Bitcoin Mining History in Venezuela welcomed the public. Criptoavila, a private firm whose members have nine years of mining experience, has launched a new project to expose people to the world of bitcoin mining. The museum, which is located downtown Caracas, will be open to the general public and admission will be free.
According to Criptonoticias, the display will depict the progression of Bitcoin mining from its CPU origins to graphics processing unit (GPU) mining. Finally, the industry has arrived at the current application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) or integrated circuit (IC) mining age. One of the museum's goals is to raise knowledge about bitcoin mining among the general public.
