Which cryptocurrency wallet can you recommend for a newbie? I need for Bitcoin, etbereum, litecoin. What's your opinion regarding coin base. Heard quite a few positive things about it. I even registered there already. Anyone uses it?

Not your keys not your coins.
Download a wallet like Coinomi or Exodus and back up the seed on a paper and store that safely. If a site goes diwn fir some reason (albeit unlikely in case of coinbase) you loose access to your funds. They can also get hacked, someone social engineers into your account etc.. Holding your own keys means you always have access to your crypto. It is also much easier to send funds with a dedicated wallet.

absolutely , this option is good 2nd option can be paper wallet and fine and expensive option can be hardware wallets for serious people

I use JAXX wallet specially to store dogecoin and blockchain wallet for bitcoin and altcoins. In my view , Blockchain is the secure and safest wallet to use.

... Blockchain is the secure and safest wallet to use.

Really think so?
If you mean Blockchain.com ...this is not secure wallet... you don't have private key there, so if in one day this company disappear, you will lost all your crypto...

So what wallet according to you is safest ? I am talking about desktop or online wallets , i don't use any hardware wallets. Coinomi is safe or not?

Noone of desktop wallets is 100% safe.
Blockchain, Coinomi, Exodus - are nice, ok, I use them sometimes too, that's true,
but in my opinion we can't say they are "100% secure", or super safe.. because they aren't.

Ok , I think you are right. I have heard news about some fake wallet companies that vanished , made people to lose money like payza wallet. Which is the best hardware wallet then?

i recommend to use desktop wallet like exodus, electrum, and etc. it seems that i lost access to my coinpayments account because it stop emailing me my sign in code since a month or so ago. it's a good thing that i didnt deposit money in there. i only had free blk coins that couldn't even be used on that site. it seems that i lost access shortly after ending my gpt site that used the aurora script. i kept on getting hack attempt emails (i think users were trying to get into my admin account on gpt site) when i was using the script.

if electrum website disappeared one day, we won't be able to use their desktop wallet?. i thought the server at bitcoin (the creator server) is all we need to keep using the electrum wallet or any wallet that uses bitcoin.

Mobile or desktop wallets are not 100% secure because they can run away anytime with your funds , instead buy hardware wallet to safely store crypto. But still for recommending purpose , Coinbase or blockchain are the trusted wallets.

I want to purchase several cryptocurrencies and I need a wallet, tell me, is there such a wallet in which you can put different altcoins or for each coin do you need a separate wallet?

I like Exodus and I use it as a main wallet. Based on your requirements, I think it's good enough. What I do is run it on a VM and I only launch the VM only when I need the wallet. That way, the security of the desktop wallet comes close to that of hardware wallets.

I doubt if there is any wallet that is 100% secure both Hardware as well as software wallet but I will also suggest you give coinomi and blockchain wallets a shot, I am using them and so far they are very secure.

I guess the walkets which you own private key or receiver phrase is more safer than those exchange wallets , I use both the wallets though ,in case of exchange wallets , coinbase is preferred
