If you're using any of the following VPN's :
  • Flash VPN
  • Secure VPN
  • Rabbit VPN
  • UFO VPN
  • Fast VPN
  • Free VPN
  • Super VPN
Then your data is leaked, if you're using the same login credentials in these apps and other websites, then hurry up and change it before you lose everything .

Most of them are little known VPNs with little credentials. One lesson we can learn from this is that no site/database/program is immune to hacking/leaks. That's why never use your real identity when purchasing high-risk product like VPNs.

well, even without using real personal information while registering in them, they will still have access to them as you are using them to browse internet

Maybe they just only got our IP addresses though. And you know IP addresses can be changed. Still way better than if you're buying a VPN by using your credit card and then your card's data got leaked.

It means people using this VPN apps at the moment as shield to access different sites are exposed already in the site data base or what ?.

If you are using the same login and password in these apps in other websites, then there is a chance of hackers getting access to your other accounts too

I am not even using any VPN at the moment , I only asked to have more clarification. There is every tendency that some people using VPN to access PayPal may be revealed right?.

When people star explaining this level of sophistication in data breach it leaves much to be desired about online data safety and privacy.

when the ip/location gets changed in paypal, they ask you for a verification and send you a message in your number phone, if someone from a suspicious ip logs in to your account, it will be limited for 180 days

Thanks for sharing this information , I don't use VPN but I have a friend who does , will appreciate if I can get the source of this information, so that I can send to my friend who may not agree ordinarily .

Hacking as become a day job for some people and as such it is time we buckle up to avoid getting our personal data out there when any leaks happens.

VPN isn't a must in most of the cases, so it's not preferable, same goes to any other app that has unknown developpers (or atleast not popular) , so people better avoid them

Just don't use same password across multiple site, use different username on each site/program, don't use obscure VPN, don't enter your CC and sensitive personal details.

For safety purpose, people need to use more of sites and apps that are developed by known source. I always think stuff online from unknown sources isn't safe at all.

Even some known source can still scam you , when hacked by a professional hacker like what happened in the present Twitter bitcoin scam , where people were scammed by verified account of influential people.

Sadly, hackers tend to target more well-know, popular apps and platform. While not trusting obscure apps is a good way to minimize the possibility of leaks, we can never be 100% safe on internet.

I totally agree with you, we just have to be careful with any site we use online. The site owners might not be scammers but hackers might be the cause of the problem.
