Following the ongoing lawsuit between Ripple and the United States Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), MoneyGram has decided to suspend trading on the Ripple platform. The company cited "uncertainty" regarding the ongoing lawsuit.
What do you think of this development?

That is quite sad but at the same time, one has to remove sentiments when business is involved. I do hope for positive news for ripple very soon.

MoneyGram has the right to do whatever they wants, but I don't think they are right with this decision, they should have waited for the outcome of the law suit. Except they are under obligation to do that.

What a sad news for ripple. The lawsuit is really spoiling plans for them. I wish there's a better way to keeps things till it is a lot better for them. This isn't good at all for them

In 2019 they both come into partnership, but one party left other on the crises time, it was not the crypto holder's fault.

I think MoneyGram left in order to protect their image and integrity if ripple is to be seen as a security . however it is not quite right

This is my view exactly. Denying a partnership you had earlier confirm and is even on record. It really appalling how things are handled when one party in a partnership is facing some trials

Lol you are right just like having fair weather friends. When you have a little storn they run off and wait by the sideline to see what happens then the run back when things are good again. They might still unire later

MoneyGram is a reputable company has been existing for a very long time and it is very likely that is US SEC advise them to withdraw just like the way they advise coinbase and Bitfinex to suspend trading of ripple on their platform.

I think they would not even care that much , because they can do without having ripple on their site , but assuming they were benefiting and depend on ripple , table would turn

That is also how l see this issue. Even though they have the right to terminate the partnership, they should have waited for the lawsuit to be over before they take their decision.

I guess they did not want to take risks that existed or could have, in their own way. After all, a commercial company and maybe a new partnership in the future.

Yeah they should have wait at least to know if its sec that was actually at fault instead of ripple. ,and i think if ripple wins then the relationship is cancelled

Yeah, their behavior made it clear they did not want to take risk. But even if they will be planning for another partnership, that means they just have to erase ripple from their list.
