Monero blockchain was recently attacked by a hacker who tried to get useful information from the people using the blockchain. This type of attack is known as "Sybil attack" where the hacker tries to create multiple pseudonyms and gain more control over the network. However, the hacker was unable to do anything as Monero's advanced blockchain uses Dandelion++ which is a high-level security feature.

This is really good because if the hackers was able to gain control of the network then many crypto would be lost , well monero is a privacy coin so it would be always hard to break through

glad to hear that he failed when doing it, nobody knows what damage he could affect to Monero's users, also that also shows how strong is their security system

This is a good security measures taken by Monero , however if monero is a private coin as claimed , what data could the hacker had in mind to steal ?

Why does it seems like monero is too hot on hackers eyes these days. They keep attacking it. Probably the easiest to do so? I've read it somewhere before.

Actually I don't think it is because ,monero is easy to be hacked. I think it is more of the privacy nature of monero which can hide the hackers identity as well.

It is a promising coin just like ripple and hackers know this do they will always want to have them for keeps for the future

Actually monero is not really promising as it is getting banned in some countries because of it private nature which encourages spammer to use it

You see. Absolutely I didn't know anything about this new technique used by hackers called "Sybil attack".
Then I believe that, after countless recently attacks suffered by the "big", no one now, can consider himself safe for own savings!

Oh is it in a decline now because the last time I read about it, it was still on a rise. Okay then it might just be about its private nature

That's good news, that the blockchain is safe because of high level security system. Hackers are everywhere ,and they create new methods to give their mission reality. So I think all high level blockchains has such security systems

The issue is not whether the price is rising or falling . It is about the privacy nature of the coin which makes it possible for scammers to use it. This is why it is banned

Okay if the lack of privacy is the real issue here then if banning it is the best thing to do then it isn't a bad step taken

Not at all. By banning it , scammers in their country can use it to carry out fraudulent activity. It can't be traced like other cryptocurrency ,thus it needs to be banned
