Basically, you sell your phone as a proxy for others to use. You can add your device to Mobinet's marketplace, set the price you want for a period (for example $5 for 1 day of use, $50 for 30 days etc) and then if someone's interested in your proxy then they can buy it for your set price. The thing that differentiates Mobinet from other bandwidth services (besides the marketplace system) is that you need to use mobile data so the customer gets a new IP after some time of use and that can get pretty expensive if data plans are expensive in your country or you can't get an unlimited data plan. (which I highly recommend) You can also sell your device with limited bandwidth per customer but its harder to find someone to rent the device from you if they can use only, for example, 1GB of data while majority of others offer unlimited data.

Yeah, it's a little complicated at first glance In very broad terms you take a spare Android phone which you don't use, leave it running in a closet 24/7, buy it its own SIM card with a (preferably unlimited) data plan, then install Mobinet's app and connect it to the dashboard from which you can put it up on marketplace with your own price, time frame and terms.

A downside here is if your device doesn't get rented at all then you could end up losing money on your investment in a data plan. If you don't want that but still want to give this a shot then check out the partner program @Mobinet.io posted about in this topic, this guarantees you a flat amount of money each month.

Yes as the marketplace shows the stability of the device and if it's low then customers might not choose to rent your device. If nobody has rented your device and it goes down, nothing happens but if someone has rented your device and it goes down at that time then problems could arise.
