Mining with Solar Energy / Solar Panels

Maybe its good if you have capital to invest. But if not then its not good since the roi will take a lot of time. Better to use some good energy saver or some tweeks with the mining devices.

With green energy you are never in a loss. Lets say you buy solar panels or wind turbines so you can mine bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies. You are basically doing it for free and it can be really effective even if the ROI is slow. In case it doesn't work out for you, you can always use green energy for powering your home ^^

You can't really say that it is without loss. The expenses you generate with green energy is the maintenance. Sure it's unlike the electricity bills you accumulate but the exposure of machines to natural elements causes more harm than good thereby making maintenance much more frequent. Unless you yourself build the contraption that generates the green energy than buying it, I can't really see how it can be a good and profitable replacement for mining.

It will sure not be more expensive than having electricity from other company . Its green energy, doesn't matter if you build it yourself or just invest in solar panels / wind turbines . You can pay someone to come and check / maintain your house that you power from green energy. Some people actually built this and they posted proofs of the whole project , from building the panels to maintaining the whole rig . They said its profitable for them.. but it really depends the price of the cryptocurrency you are mining in my opinion.

I'm not much of a green energy expert myself but I can still see certain problems with the application of green energy. For one, if you rely on solar, wouldn't that mean that you wouldn't acquire the same capacity as that of the electric rig since it would be too reliant on sunlight? What if it would be the rainy seasons or just usually cloudy, then your mining potential would also be affected. Well certainly it cheapens and reduces utility costs but it also lowers potential profit that could be generated from plugged rigs. Same could be said for turbines as it would also be reliant on the wind.

Anyway, I can see green energy being profitable in a long term basis but having a mining rig too reliant on certain factors and with limited sources of energy would certainly lessen profit as you are not the only one who is mining. Do note that mining cryptocurrency becomes more difficult as more coins are mined therefore the ones who utilizes and maximizes their mining rigs capabilities are usually the ones who significantly profit more. Such is especially the case if you are an early miner wherein you only have a few competitors of a certain coin, then maximizing your rig would be the best way to profit.

The thing is with solar panels, you can hold electricity that you got from the sun, for example when its really sunny and then when the rainy days come you can just use that electricity which is saved instead ? You get what I'm saying ? You can basically store it of course if you have that kind of installation but yeah I agree.. people that have many rainy days should not be looking to invest in cryptocurrency mining with solar panels.

What do you guys think of the idea of minning cryptocurrencies with energy from the sun aka with solar panels ? Many people actually are doing it right now and they see some potential in it . Would you invest in such a thing?
I have heard about solar panels, but I didn't know that some people use it to mine cryptocurrencies.
It seems a pretty good idea to me,but let's see what in the future will happen, will it used be worldwide for mining cryptocurrencies or not...

You gonna need land area to build a mining farm, you gonna need solar panels which can be expensive depending on how large your mining farm is planned to be.You gonna need to maintain the panels too. My point is it can be expensive to create a mining farm based on renewable energy but its one time invest. You invest once and then u just keep putting money on maintaining the rigs / panels . You will be in a profit for sure.

Mining cryptocoins using a solar cell is quite a clever idea. Been thinking of it too, though solar panels are so expensive maybe it's worth to try. But how about the downtime, those days where you can't mine because of bad weather or storm maybe. I think one should also consider it too.

You know you can generate electricity even more than you think and u can save that electricity for when such days with bad weather come . As I said , if you invest in quality solar panels which will allow you to store energy as well and if you pay someone to properly maintain the rigs and panels then ur fine to go ! Let us know if you ever plan to realize the project.

This is good option to mine cryptocurrency. You can find many people's video on youtube regarding this. As one can do this for mining, it will be only one time investment only and which can be recovered easily within 3 to 4 months. Electricity bill is the only profit eating thing so it is fully controlled and 99% is our profit.

As i know, there are already miners who have solar panels.I am 99% sure. But ,want to say,in this case, you are looking at a long r.o.i because your investment upfront will be big i think. But mining the right coin i think you can break even under one year.
Another point that i heard was miners make a lot of heat,so some people were mining and also using it to war theyr place in the winter.

Its not as simple as that but yeah it will be return of investment after some time. Although, you will have to pay for maintaining the rigs and the solar panels.I haven't gone too deep into this idea but I think this project might be profitable for sure.

Long R.O.I is for sure.I never actually heard before that people use the miners to heat their houses.Thats actually pretty dope.Even if the ROI is a year or maybe year and half , I still think that it is very profitable.

This is new and interesting. Solar is top trending today because it helps greatly the environment. It is renewable and reliable.

It is worth though to use the solar panels, even if we can us only when the weather is good.I still find it a very good idea.

Solar panel seems to be a good idea. As we all know cryptocurrency mining has it's share of the issues. And one has to find out how one can fix the energy problem. I mean getting so much energy bill is not really a good idea. So on that point i'd say that solar panel is much better idea. And one cna save a lot of money from the bitcoin. And this whole infrastructure is something one has to consider as well.

You are using the energy from the sun, you are not wasting any resources from the nature and you are getting money from that. How cool is that ? I wonder if some people from BeerMoneyForum actually want to try this project. They should be aware that it could only be possible with a good plan .

I totally agree. The energy bills in certain countries can be extreme. Some countries are not able to produce their own energy from their own resource so they have to import it from other countries which means that people who live there need to pay higher energy bills than people from countries which produce energy.

You are right.I think much more persons will do cryptocurrency mining if solar panels are available to use.So this way,Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies too will become more stronger. But this will be in the future,we will see how things will evolve...
