It is without a doubt that bitcoin has provided us with a significant technology, and the benefits that it can provide to people globally has not even begun to be tapped into at this stage. However, there are many companies that are seeing these advantages now and as such they are using the technology to develop various systems for their company and marketing. One such company is a ventured partnership between Microsoft and Ion which are trying to use the bitcoin technology to build decentralized identity system. What are your thoughts on this?

That's great , I have a list of such companies that use this feature and they are successful shows positive but their are downsides to this approach as well

But how would the decentralise identity system look like, is it that the identity system would not be seen by a central authority ,or it would be decentralised in a way that users would have only their control over

Decentralized identity system is when credentials are being verified. it's not controlled by a central authority. it's allows identity assertions to be made independently.

Okay i understand your point now i know more about , its good they are making a decentralised identity system but dont know if the government would allow it

Oh.. isn't Bill gates a hater of Cryptocurrency yet he is willing to use it's technology. Hmm im not sure if he's still the CEO maybe not.

This is very wrong. Bill described his position to crypto as neutral. He is not hating crypto but points out the negative side effects that come with crypto but also emphasize the benefit. Google his last interview on CNBC on that :)

I think he doesn't want to give any financial advice to anyone by sugar coating untrue words and people start complaining , so its best he says the truth about his investment and stays neutral

The bitcoin technology presumably the blockchain has a lot of potential that one will surely want to leverage on on creating wealth for himself.

Well these Solutions Are Much Common Now-a-days , Companies Offer This Service from $1 Per Piece Of Verification To Be Honest Actually .

I just read about the adoption of crypto currency by Microsoft and I knew that others will want to adopt same for their own use. So it is happening already here

That is a really good development. I hope this new system will be so beneficial for Microsoft. It is really awesome to see how much technology has been brought about by Bitcoin.

Most of the big retailers that are on the crypto checklist are ready to accept crypto by 2022 so these type of news are not considered that big for hype

If a big company like microsoft is looking towards adoption then i think that other companies will do so as well so as to not be left behind in the digital currency era.

I hope they don't use it for nefarious purpose like online profiling and net fingerprinting. We're truly walking toward Orwellian dystopia if they do so.

That is a very interesting comment. I did not consider this when i was reading about this development. How do you think that they would use it for online profiling if i may ask?
