Recently we have seen a lot of companies that have gotten involved in the cryptocurrency world and even more so that are constantly looking to invest in Bitcoin and various other coins as a means to store their monetary value, and counter inflation rates. With companies such as Tesla investing in Bitcoin, many are following in those footsteps. However, this is not the case when it comes to Microsoft. A recent article has shown that Microsoft currently has no plans to invest in the Bitcoin craze that is happening now. This is counterintuitive as Microsoft does accept Bitcoin payment yet is not investing in Bitcoin. What are your thoughts on this? Are they relying only on their payments to increase their investment into Bitcoin?

I mean, im expecting this because Bill gates doesn't buy the idea of Bitcoin.. he's not a fan and i don't think he will ever be. Right now bill gates is like every other government officials.

Microsoft already accepts payment in bitcoin, this is already a step. It is not planning to invest in but coin seems it have future plan to launch its own cryptocurrency or invest in some other.

Bitcoin is highly speculative and volatile, that's the argument of people like Bill Gates. And their argument is spot on, indeed bitcoin is what they say it is but investors have never had it so good before.

Bill Gates never believed in crytocurrency, I think it is because of it volatility. Bill Gates and other leaders like African countries don't believe in what they can not control. No one controls bitcoin, they find it difficult to invest their money in such. But with time they will join and start using cryptocurrency. Because cryptocurrency is the future and the future is here.
Well stated, I like your last paragraph which I believe is the fact when once they realize the value of bitcoin, they will start investing in it a d that's it.

Well i also noticed that but they have their reasons for not investing in bitcoin i think ,since even if they don't invest others will invest in bitcoin

Why not others will definitely invest in bitcoin but I still believe it a matter of time they will also realize the potential there in and also invest. It never too late for any company

If it has future plans to create its own cryptocurrency then it should be in support of Bitcoin to show their mark in the cryptocurrency world. This in my opinion would be the best way to try and reach out when it comes to the crypto world and their users in anticipation of their future coin.

I don't think its too late because the price of bitcoin have been growing for a while now ,but its still yet to reach its full potential i think , so study it well

Not everyone have same way to support / oppose; for example several governments are launching their own cryptocurrencies but without supporting Bitcoin. However Microsoft already supports bitcoin by accepting payment in BTC.

I also believe they have a reason for not investing much in bitcoin now. Maybe the fact that they accept bitcoin as a payment option meant they are not against it entirely, but just that they are not fully in like other organizations.

pretty normal if you ask me, for a tech company, it will just focus on investments in its domain, if it joins cryptocurrency, people will think that microsoft might use their machines to mine crypto lol

The future is cryptocurrency and the future is here. The news is stating Microsoft's non-interest in buying bitcoin, but i must tell you that the news is sounding like a rumour of them wanting to go the crypto way because in every rumour there is an atom of truth.

I think we are only expecting them to invest in crypto currencies but they are not also showing any strong signal. But maybe since they accept payment in crypto currencies, they are still part of the crypto community.

Microsoft might decide not to invest in bitcoin because of its speculative nature. Investors in bitcoin need to understand that when they buy bitcoin they need to hold and sell only when the present value is higher than the price at which they bought.

If not now then I'm sure we could see this happening in the future though, the way crypto is going now its just a matter of time before it's a norm

If they are already accepting bitcoin payments, then maybe they will adopt investing in it in future. But some reports show that Bill Gates is not really into bitcoin. Anyway, time will tell.

I think it just them waiting it out to see how it goes for now with bitcoin. You know some people are still sceptical. So this might just be it for Microsoft
