Hello Guys,

I read recenty in a blog i check on frequently that Marketing through Messenger could be more effective and cost efficient than traditional Email Marketing,

The argument was that by using messenger you could get more targeted real people with better click through rate than on Emails,

Also this way youre probably gonna get real Active People as most people use Facebook everyday, so you would have a lot of chances to actually sell your products or services....

And it doesn't stop right there, apparently you can use some Bots with your Pages which send automatic messages to people who visit your Page and it's all automatic

One free software Is Manychat, it helps you create a bot for your facebook page.

So what do you think about this ? what could be the advantages of this approach in your opinion ? could there be any disadvantages ? or do you think that Email Marketing is

The recent changes with the facebook pages and messenger adds up more restrictive control on the bot. But bots are working since that change. I think only issue being we have to watch if the bots are converting or not. Like if those bots were to be giving any form of affiliate conversion or the product promotion.

I would prefer to do the messenger marketing than email marketing, most of the emails nowadays were directly sent to spam box, so only a few people can see the email that you're going to send to them.

Messenger marketing is way better now because your ad wouldn't be easily blocked and discarded like emails. Sometimes I don't bother to open marketing I just delete it straight up without taking a look.so go with messenger marketing.

i would suggest email better, because the users mostly don't notice the messages invitations in messenger with the recent updates as far as i noticed as well, unlike emails, but those have cons as well because some of them might be considered as spam and people don't even receive them, but they are still a better option

that article that you read is right, messenger belongs to facebook which has the biggest data base about their users so when you do an AD in facerbook the target wil be so good, not like emails
also people chack their emails once a week but their messenger everyday

i believe email would be better especially if the email isn't considered as spam, in most of the cases in messenger, you have to accept people's chatting request to be able to chat with them, and in many occasions, that notification can't be noticed it's useless to spam them with it

Messenger would have been better because you could get instant results but the challenge is that you may doing that manually and bots may not work except people contact and the bos send messages or reply automatically,.

Actually, from the experiences I've had so far in marketing experts. I would definitely prefer messenger marketing this is because I noticed that a times, email marketing is being so slow and unstrategic because most people don't like to attend to their emails on a daily basis and through messenger marketing I could have a lengthy discussion or dialogue with the potential customer and in messenger marketing it is more likely to see people come online on daily basis as compared to opening their emails on daily basis.

Well I would love to do messenger marketing than going for email marketing because messenger marketing you have quick access to the person maybe online or through phone calls and also this give you the best assurance that your sales will be delivered faster but email marketing I think this will be much slower in which the person will have to check his mail first before he could notice any mail be send for the delivery of sales to the person and most of the times most conservative messages flows and fall in the spam folder

I have noticed this too with email a lot of the receivers hardly response and you might be wondering if they didn't get the email even when you included a call to action to enable them at least reply but it still didn't help. so best bet is to be on one on one discussion via messenger so that you get to hear from the other party to know whether to move on or follow up on the recipient.

There have been a lot of movement in the past with the way in which people prefer some certain services over the other and I am not surprised to see white people now like to receive their messages in their messenger instead of always trying to open their email. If you are going to start I advise that you should first of all give people an option to choose whether they would like to receive it in their messenger or in their emails and then try to compare the quality of the results.

Well personally I feel making use of messenger is better than email. My reason for this is that people these days hardly check their emails compared to how they check their social media accounts. Myself for example, I hardly check my emails I could get some messages there and won't even be aware of it. Though I do not always check my social media accounts each day, but I do check them more than my email.
