MeritCrowd is basically a content writing website which pays for writing articles. The website is based in Sweden. The selection process is very simple. You have write a 300 word sample article on the given topic. If it is approved, you can start earning.

It pays 1.20 Euro per word which is very good. The only drawback is that it does not have tasks everyday. We have to visit the website daily to check if any work is available. The jobs are reserved on a first come basis.

It is a legit site and pays correctly by the end of every month. It is available to all countries. The payment supported is PayPal.

I don't want to assume the worst yet. Since payments are made on last day of every month, I will check and see if jobs will be available next month. Meanwhile, I will contact them this week and update here if I get feedback.

I wouldn't want to wait for long and still get rejected.

Always assume the worst since you are investing time here. Also, only few sites really accept writers, so always be prepared to be rejected. Anyway, I am better off relying on other sites that MeritCrowd.

Any site can accept or reject, any site can accept or dent. Meritcrowd is just another site but that is a writer's quality which is in demand. If accepted by a site, deny by another, your best choice is where you are accepted.

That is decent pay for a writing site for a month. That isn't too bad for a site that doesn't have a lot of work all the time. It might be worth writing for a site like this.

I tried the forum posting 2 years ago and it really isn't all that great. Some people love Postloop and Forumwheel. I personally didn't like them at all. I would rather write an article or site review than to cheat on forums to make bogus posts. I personally found the entire concept a bit misleading and not fair to the public. I know people open new forums and they want a lot of content on them. But is this the right way to go?

I like to suggest that you go through this section on the forum. You will find so many opportunities here on this forum. I am sure you will be able to select 4 or 5 sites to write on. I see there is a lot of different types of opportunities and people talk about their experiences here. It is easy to learn and apply for these site.

I don't know forum shell, but it seems all old forums are now giving problem to both new and old writers; this is good opportunity for new sites as they will get chance from various experienced writers.

I apologize for the typo I made. I meant to write The Forum Wheel. And yes I agree with your point that old and famous forums namely Postloop and TFW are no longer a comfortable working site. I think it is impossible to find any user who is satisfied in working with them. I hope both of these sites revive back soon and try to increase the number of active forums.

I think this can be a wonderful opportunity for new writers to start out. I know the competition is tough and there can be a time when jobs are slim, but all in all it is good to have a few sites to go to when this one happens.

Yes. I also felt it was worth it. I submitted my first article on October 9th and still waiting to know if it will be rejected or approved.

The first article I did was not for academic writing. I haven't seen those requiring those strict formats. Just content writing.

Its legit site with limited task , i will try it but i only work in site that are only accepting not rejecting -there are many tens of site which never ban or reject articles i prefer that ones ,its waste of time as1euro/word means its for proffestional high writer,thanx !!.

I've written guest post, content, websites, and books online. There is always rejection. I've never heard of any site that never rejects your work. At times we just have to do rewrites. That is part of life and how it is. I don't know any writer that hasn't had their work rejected and asked to write a part of it again. This is news to me there are sites out there that don't reject your work.

I find MeritCrowd a very nice place to make a good amount of beer money. When they release a batch of articles and you are a good fast writer who follows their nicely described rules, you can make hundreds of euros just over the weekend if there is a bad weather and nothing else to do. True is that you have to check task availability, but they pay fair even for one test article.

Never presented with an academic writing request so far - but my language is not the most popular one in the world so orders are rare. Work rejection is OK because the people who pay for the articles expect some quality to be met.
