MeritCrowd is basically a content writing website which pays for writing articles. The website is based in Sweden. The selection process is very simple. You have write a 300 word sample article on the given topic. If it is approved, you can start earning.

It pays 1.20 Euro per word which is very good. The only drawback is that it does not have tasks everyday. We have to visit the website daily to check if any work is available. The jobs are reserved on a first come basis.

It is a legit site and pays correctly by the end of every month. It is available to all countries. The payment supported is PayPal.

How did they inform you about the sample you should do? I haven't received any information about a sample I should do since I joined.

By the way, how much time it took you to earn that amount and can i see your payment proof, if you don't mind. They responded yesterday at night and told me that I did not choose a language and that is why I could not see tasks. But I remember doing so. Anyway I was given more than 30 tasks yesterday and was asked to choose one and do. They were all for 300 words. I completed in one hour and submitted. I will update here if I get approved.

Also, it's been 2 days since I submitted my sample and I still have no feedback. Expect yours to take long as well.

This sounds like a very interesting site. I think it might be worth checking into. You are saying that you need to submit a sample of your writing to the site and be approved to work on the site. It seems the only draw back on this site is the lack of work that it offers the writers. If there is a large pool of writers on the site then your chances of obtaining work are a lot less. I might think about this and look at the site. Thank you for suggesting this to us.

Nah, screw this site. I also signed up and submitted my article. Still, no jobs on the site. Well, I'll just assume that I got rejected or something.

I don't want to assume the worst yet. Since payments are made on last day of every month, I will check and see if jobs will be available next month. Meanwhile, I will contact them this week and update here if I get feedback.

I wouldn't want to wait for long and still get rejected.

If you are paid then it is better, if not paid then it is bad. What we need is legit writing sites where we can post our contents.
