Meerkat finance with a yield farming in Binance smart chain has been hacked and user's funds stolen .

The hackers took control of the BNB/BUSD farm and withdrawed all the money deposited in the contract .
The hackers are using DeFi avenue to move the funds ,and have moved a out $17 million worth of BNB ,and have transferred some of them to another wallets in multiples of 5000 BNB per transaction.

This is sad and such a loss too. I wonder if there would be a way to track down such hacker and deliver justice to him for his horrible actions.

They should improve their security system , i wonder who would invest in that coin again considering the recent hack , it might scare investors

Another huge amount of money gotten access to without difficulty. Sites need to start applying solid security measures. Even if it isnt 100% but at least a measure that can save up to 80%. This kind of situation might deter others from even investing in the coin

Recently there have been so many news about hacking, one thing I have come to understand though, in most cases of hacking, there is usually an insider who gives out the necessary informations that would help the hackers. Have investigations started?

This is a really big loss , i wonder how meerkat finance would make up to their users because of this incident , i also guess smart contracts like these are really susceptible to hacking as they are always there just hope enough security measures are there now so no more future hacking could happen again
