You can make money by publishing ebooks on Amazon, Smashword, hulu, Barnes and Nobel etc. However, recently I found out that you can also sell your ebooks on Fiverr and clickbankand make money. Has anybody done this.

You can sell them on your own blog, on Ebay, on any site that supports e-tailing--but honestly I simply cannot be bothered. The vast majority of sales will be from sites like Amazon Kindle that attact ebook buyers and optimize their experience. I never bother selling through any site that is not like to offer high volume sales, and does not offer fully automated fulfillment. There is probably more money to be made spending your time promoting and marketing an Amazon listing than creating another listing on some other site. Also, for me, going exclussive with Kindle seems to be the more profitable option anyway, YMMV.

I did try once, writing a book about arbitrage betting and selling it on eBay. I didn't make a single sale, but really has little experience or knowledge of the sales side, and didn't advertise. I suppose that was my own fault really, the writing was the easy bit, but the marketing wasn't.

I don´t think you will have really much success on anything except Amazon. If you put an ebook on Amazon and it does not sell, it will not sell anywhere. If you put it on Amazon and it is semi-successful, then you might try to put it on other sites. You have to remember that maintenance and formatting for all those sites will take you time. You will also have to worry about cash-out limits and stuff like that. Finally, any sells you make from a site besides Amazon will effectively lower your standing on Amazon. You want to get listed on popular lists on Amazon, that is where you really start making money.

I've heard some writers say that they've sold hundreds of books on lulu.

That's why I don't think anyone should limit themselves only to Amazon because there are many people who get their ebooks from other places on the net. If you can get it listed free then IMHO since it'll take less than a day to list your book on all those sites, you should get it listed on all of them.

I recently heard about that method of making money online, but I soon found out that the market of selling ebooks online is over saturated and slightly more difficult to get buyers now then years ago.

Many have been successful utilizing the Amazon kindle platform. Sellers would also market on their own to get more people aware of the product, different techniques of getting traffic to the offers are used to get more buyers, so I think this method still works, especially if you have the necessary skills to market for your product!

The reason to limit yourself to Amazon is that they have an absolutely dominant market share and going exclusive allows you to also earn from the lending program. Rather than making breezy assumptions based random subjective impressions, I actually tried my books in all channels and in kdp select, and the latter made more money so that is what I went with.

As for Lulu, if you only want to sell a few hundred copies that might be a great choice. But they are old-fashioned, have crap traffic, massively over-charge on hardcopies and shipping, and the owner acts like an asshat on the forums. I stopped using them a decade ago.

Yes,I have a book on Amazon kindle and it not doing badly though not as expected but it still fine.I'm on another one but I'm trying to do the marketing myself probably could try other sites but if not will see how to make personal sales and have first hand information on which is better

A very competitive field it is , you need to put so much efforts to have some peanuts at the end of the day. An individual doing it on their own would be kinda difficult , a bunch of individuals can have a go about it:)

I think it easier to sell books on Amazon Kindle and this is more popular too. I know some people from Mylot who were selling their books on Kindle and they were quite successful. I know people who have been selling books on ListingDock.

For selling for books english must be on top performance since all those books, especially Amazon or any serious seller, must past revision from professional reviews.

it wull require a strong english language to make ebooks and sell them ,i have heard a lot about it but I'm unaware about what is kindle ebook and why people will purchase on amazon etc ???,thankx!!...

Kindle ebook is tablet created by Amazon and it's specialized for buying and reading books from Amazon. Amazon is one of first companys who start selling ebook for low price.

I have not done this. The reason being those marketplace are not ebook selling points. For example, you can see that those sites are nothing but marketplace. And they are being marketed as such. so one has to be really good with the content. and also have to sell in internet marketing and the make money genre. so that's something you have to consider when it comes to the ebook sales. that's something I am focusing on currently. I am going for smashwords instead.

Yep,there are people,who made a fortune by selling ebooks,and there are people who are offering free ebooks,but they still have not so much success.I didn't even try my luck at this type of "business",because there are so many people writing ebooks about so many things,the market is already over saturated.

After browsing through the discussion forum and finding like minded people from newbie to experts and all the quality response that they get.. I have always want to ask a question, more of a help thereof.

I am from India, firstly. And, I desperately need some money right now. the amount is 50,000 rupees something.. which in dollar is 750-800 dollars.. I need it for a situation i am in.. If you can help me and tell me how to earn this much in a small time, or, maybe in a month online. i would be grateful. I have already earned 5000 selling ebooks but, this is too slow.. Have you tried every type of promotion for your ebook? Even video marketing on Facebook, YouTUBE, Instagram?

Earn $800 in a month is very possible but you must have the background already done. Making this much out of the bat it's pretty much close to impossible without risking money or investing money.

If possible to get out of this situation borrow from a friend or family and give them money back in let's say 3 months, a more reasonable time frame.

It depends on which sites you join and have skills to actually make it work, for example, if you join survey sites you will never earn that much. For quick results you need to invest cash in cpa marketing... but if it' the first time you heard of this better don't, take small steps, learn everyday and when you feel you know enough you can risk you money, and not before. Always risk involved!
