MakeALivingWriting.com is a blog by owner Evan Jensen, according to her - "I believe if a blog makes money for its owner, guest posters should be paid."

She currently pay $75-$150 for blog posts on different topics.
Writers may have to contact with her; she will pay for approved posts only.

Do you have any experience with this site? What are your reviews?

Never heard about this, will like to write for her that rate is. good. One nerds to find out if she needs native speakers, because with this good pay,she might be looking for native speakers and also see her writing patterns so as to avoid a lot of rejections. Will research more about this.

This site is new to me. I would like to know if she accepts members worldwide and the payment methods? The amount that she is paying is quite good. She is approving for the posts I think she needs high quality writers only

I know this site and she is legitimate and will pay you for what you write. She doesn't always accept freelancers on the site and it's better to pitch her before spending your time writing up an article she's not interested in.

Some site owners are moody, some have direct taste, and if you are aware of her, then you might know her favourite topics. For Example we can aslo check Evan Jensen's writings and give her what she is trying to write.

That's a good amount paid per guest post. I am not sure if my article writing posts would get accepted. but they seem to be good and genuine enough though. so must be worth the effort. and she is paying genuinely. so a good resource.

What I like about guest positing is the fact you can get your name out there. In each guest post you're given a bio and can add your info or your website. Several years back I was promoting a cooking blog to build it up and sell it. I did a lot of guest posting under the name I gave the blog. I pretended I was an old grandma trying to share my old home cooking from the ranch. It was actually quite fun. Well anyhow as a guest poster it is better that you find a website in your niche and post on it. This is more beneficial to you and your online profile. Furthermore, if you wat to write for a site like this at least have the knowledge it takes to write the post. Understanding the niche makes it so much easier to write the post and be paid.

I have never tried blogging but a still in the process of understanding how the whole thing goes but I know the crucial part is creating traffic to your blog.

Anyone can create a blog or even a weblog. It doesn't have to be popular and it can be your personal journal of you journey, life, poetry or what ever. If you're planning on making money from this it should be a niche blog. This one take a lot of work and needs a lot of dedication and a person who will write posts on it several times a week.

In this thread the person is dedicated to her work and her blog. She has spent a lot of time and effort to attract readers to her niche blog. That is why it is so important if you want to work for her or even write 1 guest post, you know her subject, what her readers want and what she gives them. That will be the only way you'll be able to submit an article to her and get it accepted.

If one want to make good money out of writing in this site, then just follow the instructions given there; if there is any problem, then ask the site admin. These are just our chance and not guaranteed.

You are right, however, if you'd given the person some helpful information on how to accomplish this task it would have enhanced this post. I'd like to read about how a person can improve their skill or how this site owner has some type of guideline. Nobody has even presented this here. They are so helpful to people to know what they are up against.

I don't think you are being fair. While you didn't find very enhancing the post,I have found useful tips in "Yugocean " post.I don't think we should criticize every single post, which seems not useful to us,but to others it is useful. We are not judges.

It is not criticizing the post, it was offering helpful suggestions on what other help can be given and elaborated on. The post is useful, but if you add a few other points and tips like tips on improving writing skills, tips you found out about the site when you write there. Then this can help a person out. For example on one writing site that I wrote on for years, it was a technical site. The owner paid freelancers for their blog post.

In the beginning I was not accepted very often and for some reason kept getting back some sort of generic email that listed a ton of things from picture to grammar to even topic. How can you determine what is wrong. Finally, I got mad and wrote to them. I found out that it wasn't my writing, but only my image. Now why not say that in the beginning. These types of tips are more helpful than others that come out. If you tell a person about your personal experience on there and explain that the rejection might not be for the tons of reasons stated, but only for an image this would really help them and encourage them on the site.

Gladly the site is seen to be legitimate and people who will write just have to be extra, the payout is good, one can start making money here.

I have a listing of around 100 such sites that will pay people to write blog posts for them. I am trying to get around to researching them more so I can add a few more reviews for them here on the forum. The only thing about these types of sites is the fact that they are basically for one or two time posters. If the site loves your work, they might contact you to write a special blog post for them. These types of sites aren't members sites and people get confused about joining them. There is no where to join them only a place to submit your ideas and if they like the idea you can go ahead and write up your blog post. The second thing about these types of sites is the payment proof. These types of site will only pay a person if their article has been accepted and posted on the site. They are not a normal rewards site or PTC site. These are people who work hard and personally own their own blog or website. They are there to help people out because they do receive a lot of request to write a guest post for them.

Sounds like a good place to check out and see what happens. But I will start by finding out what her style of writing before I can jump in the deep end.

Approving post and not approving post is not good enough.Let the the requirement or rules concerning writing articles for her should be stated so that one knows what is required.I say this because some writing sites owners can reject your article and use the back door to publish the same articles they rejected. If the writer is coming on board as a seasoned writer then there should be a strong reason to take his or her articles provided the guidelines as stated were followed

This is something I aspire to do with my own blog. I can't cover as much area as I'd like to, so I'd like to be able to pay guest bloggers around my country for their unique articles, photos and video footage to help take my blog to another level. However, I'd need help with capital and that's not exactly easy to secure, especially in these dire times.

That is a good step to start with. It sounds like a great site. I will also check on her writing style and see if I can write blogs there too.

That is a great plan you have there. You will be hiring people to write those topics that you don't know much about. That is really good.

Thank you, a_jerobon? And just to explain, the reason for wanting to bring in guest bloggers is not so much the fact I don't know the subject matter. I do actually know it. But it's just not practical for me to cover the length and breadth of my country because it would require a lot of time and energy to cover the countless safari holiday hot spots and beauty spots we have here, some of which are not well known. So, I feel it would be great to kill two birds with one stone:

1. Save money, time and energy by employing guest bloggers to contribute about interesting things in their area
2. Help many unemployed people earn a small sum for sharing interesting stuff about their communities and beauty spots in their area.
