Black hat marketing tactics most commonly refers to Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques. Blасk hаt Sео is а prасtiсе thаt inсrеаsеs а pаgе's rаnk in sеаrсh еnginеs thrоugh mеаns thаt viоlаtе thе sеаrсh еnginеs' tеrms оf sеrviсе. Thе tеrm "blасk hаt" оriginаtеd in Wеstеrn mоviеs tо distinguish thе "bаd guys" frоm thе "gооd guys," whо wоrе whitе hаts (sее whitе hаt Sео). Rесеntly, it's usеd mоrе соmmоnly tо dеsсribе соmputеr hасkеrs, virus сrеаtоrs, аnd thоsе whо pеrfоrm unеthiсаl асtiоns with соmputеrs.

Hеy,
In shоrt: it's аbоut оptimizing оnly fоr sеаrсh еnginеs, whilе rеаl humаn usеrs аrе ignоrеd. It mаy rаnk yоur sitе high аnd rеаlly quiсk, but nоrmаlly rеsults in spаm, bаd соntеnt, сrаppy pаgеs аnd links. Lаtеst Gооglе updаtеs try tо punish suсh strаtеgiеs.
Sоmе еxаmplеs: sосiаl mеdiа spаmming, unrеlаtеd kеywоrds, hiding links in thе tеxt, dupliсаtеd соntеnt, spаm blоgs, link spаm.

In a way I guess it's similar to black hat forum posting techniques where a forum member will just type a question asked on a forum into Google, and then copy and paste the first answer found. We can all do that as can the person who asked the question in the first place, so I would imagine they may be looking for a more detailed answer.

Basically black hat techniques are ways to get your site noticed and to the top rank of Google, mainly by targeting the actual search engines themselves and not potential visitors. Instead of promoting a site legitimately, they will try and fool the search engine in to believing that the site is getting more hits than what it actually is. Recently Google, to name one popular search engine, as clamped down hard on this type of thing and you will be banned if found out, and they will also close down your Adsense account as well.

A few years ago it may have been worth doing to get ahead start on the competition but these days it's not worth taking the risk.

One method that seems black hat is where people are hired to search for your website, click on it, and fool around for a time. However, so far it seems to work on Google as the websites selling this method probably still make money. Does anyone think this way of SEO is fishy?

It probably does still work to a certain extent but only in the short term. If a site is new then doing this can give it a boost to start off, but if it fails to evolve naturally and more people start visiting that aren't being paid then sooner or later the site will be found out.

Paying people to start off a site with a few hits and views for a few months is one thing, continuing to do that for years then eventually Google will take notice and all your hard work (and theirs) will amount to nothing. Being banned from Google for a site owner is almost as bad as a gambler being put in the black book along side Al Capone. There might be other search engines to list your site on, but you'll never be able to touch the competition without access to Google.

Black hat seo techniques help to rank your keywords faster in search engines and generates more traffic in shorter time. But the methods followed are not supported by Google and hence your website can get penalized for following such techniques.

Think of black hat as something unethical you can do to do business. And this means doing things that don't have much credibility in the market. That shows you that in order to do something genuine you'd have to focus on better things. And avoid those unethical market. That's how you can get hold control on your finance.

I see blackhat marketing as a dubious way of making money.Because just designing a blog or site with nice designs and optimization just to fool search engine to rank their blog higher on search engine but the content of the blog is not worth a stay by the users.

I read somewhere that most sites that had used this strategy have been banned and I see it as a crazy thing to do.Why don't one use that wasted time to build a worthwhile content that can be relish by visitors and therefore, drive organic visitors to one's sites.

Many people go blackhat to earn money faster, for social media they use bots to increase followers and youtube views.
Totally agree.I have read many times ,that persons using this type of tactics have huge traffic on their website(meaning huge income every month).

okay man but it's the best method
Blackhat marketing is not the best method to earn money. First is not etic. Second is illegal, you can get in jail.
I recommend traditional advertising, affiliate marketing with legit traffic sources.

I never knew blackhat marketing is so bad to the extent of geting someone in jail. It's certainly a method to stay away from, considering it's disadvantages. I think the reason why many people go the blackhat way is because they are impatient. It's like trying to get your investment back overnight, and hence the short people do follow.

Yeah, by using this it will help you to earn fast than using the white hat or gray hat method. But it has always a risk.
Yes,with that type of method you can earn well ,even in couple of days you can have a nice income.I have seen many payment proofs, using that method. It is better though and more secure to use white hat methods. It is not worth using the other method,if you don't know entirely, what are you getting into.

Alright, i have a question, since i am actually a newbie online. There are PTC(paid to click) sites online and they pay people for clicking ads and others for viewing ads, do google also frown at this? Hope i have not derailed the topic.

My friend says he recently started with affiliate marketing and hes making $2000 a week with a network called ADCOMBO he says its very friendly ans easy to use, plus the manager is in constant communication, should I venture?

I think that seems to be pure spamming more than black hat marketing. THough black hat marketing involve shady stuff. But this is pure spam. And not something that would be black hat. Black hat makes use of bots, automation and unethical stuff. Spam on the other hand is nothing but the wasted effort. so it's not exactly a form of marketing from where I am seeing it. I find this nothing but boring. Not sure how many people even waste time in this.
