Follow Along Make money online starting with zero in the pocket

Hello. First of all thank you Mr. B. For making this forum. This is the first forum where I can actually find detailed step by step guides with a lot of useful information, and not just "do this do that and boom money will rain" descriptions.

Just a little bit from my past online experience. I am in online "things" for 4 years now. I have tried ptc, matrix program, cyclers, and yes, you guessed right, none of that worked. The last and biggest disappointment was the fall of w3adz/buxcap/buxcure sister sites. I believed so much in these programs. I invested 2 dollars (I know, it is not that much), and I was about to cash out 25 when the system stopped working. This is when I decided to change. Since I am fluent in English, last year I started doing Hungarian - English translation online, and I was good at it. I had a few clients, but there was no more work, and I did not thought about future clients, but I just realized how good is to be your own boss.

At the moment I have nothing to invest, and this is the reason I am not making any website. I could start with a free webhosting, like 000webhost, but I personally do not suggest these kind of services to anyone. A facebook page or twitter account is much better to begin with because a free webhosting has a very low response time, your website will be slow, google will rank it lower etc. etc., and the only advantage of it, that it is free.

My journey will consist of three stages. So lets start.
Stage one:
I have joined Upwork to make some money with translating, and following Mr.B.`s follow/unfollow method, I will make a twitter account in a specific niche I am good at (sorry I will not tell you about it) and build up to 50k-100k followers.
Stage on goals: Make money for a quality hosting (at least two year hosting with domain) and build up a twitter account to 50k-100k followers.
I will not update daily, but maybe weekly or as I progress. I will only focus on my current stage. For the other two I have plans but I am sure they will change as time goes by, so I will write about them later.

Any advise now or later will be greatly appreciated

I think everyone started with PTC and tried the other ways of making money as well.

It will be hard to gain 100k followers, and that depends on the niche, but for sure not impossible.

Keep us updated, maybe we can help you more. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.

So, a little update.
Twitter: Yesterday I spent 2 and a half hours in GIMP designing the cover photo, but it worth it. I have chosen my profile picture. And my first tweet got a re-tweet immediately. This was good. :)
I have 55 followers, and I joined twiends and addmefast. It seems that people from addmefast likes to unfollow you after a while. I hope that I get to 1k soon. I post 3-4 times daily. And a TIP: Always use free stock photos for your post and you can be 100% sure that you will have no problem later (pixabay is the best probably).

Well, now Upwork. I had a terrible start. I did not spent enough time on creating my account, so it was far from perfect. Now I corrected everything but I am sure I lost some valuable visitors, potential clients. If you join Upwork, spend hat time on creating your profile, since you will not have any job history this is the key to get clients. I am contributing in the translation of some youtube videos, so that I can make a portfolio, to attach to my profile.

Have you ever seen the band wagon posts on Twitter where it claims if you follow them and people they follow all will follow you back. As a joke I did this 3 or 4 days ago and I have already 650 new followers without having to go to one of the twinds sites and get follow and unfollow right away. It seems this band wagon that is going around will continue to follow you as long as you continue to follow them. Check it out and look for one of the post. It was simple to get this one started and start getting followers. All you do is like and retweet a few of them and all of a sudden you have a ton of people following you. It is sort of amazing and they continue to follow you.

Do the work in forums and blogs and also search on sites that support your area and do a lot of work at beermoney forum is the best site that guarantees you a profit according to the effort you work
good luck

I have seen this Follow Help accounts on twitter, but I thought they are some kind of scammers. Thanks to Awan I have tried and yup, it is very good. Now I have 380 followers but I consider to follow a bunch of these band wagons. At least with this method you get less bot followers than with addmefast and similar sites. Since this is my first account on twitter I did not used to know how things work there. It is much different from facebook. Things happen much faster. You have to post at least 4-5 times a day to be considered active. I am learning a lot about twitter these days (google is my friend).

About Upwork: Well a full time digital nomad from my country (only earns money online) reviewed my Upwork profile and said me that it is just 25% completed, and this is the reason why I did not get any jobs. I had filled in everything, done a lot of tests and I am now "100%". Yaaaay... And since I done the changes my profile got verified (certified by Upwork) and got an invitation to do a "Rising talent" test. Wow. I will learn from the PDF Upwork suggested, and will consider doing the test.

So about the forums. I do not like forums, I never liked them, and this is maybe the third time in my life when I registered on a forum. Usually (not here) on forums are people who know how to do things, make money etc., but did not want to share the knowledge with the others. Luckily, people on this forum are very helpful and the threads are informative. This is my first thread ever, and this is why I started to write it here.

SO as soon as I make some money on Upwork I will consider buying a quality hosting and of course I will write a blog in my niche, because it is a MUST, I know, if you want to be successful online, and later of course, monetize it all. But starting my own site is the second stage of my journey. Currently I am just focusing on:
1. Getting as much twitter followers as possible with follow "band wagons"
2. Post quality material on twitter to attract new followers and keep the old ones
3. Getting jobs on Upwork. (Maybe I will also post here in the marketplace)

PS: Thank you guys all for the tips, I will keep you updated about my progression `till I reach my goals. Also It is a very good Journal for myself to see my progression and keep me motivated.

Then is is a great journey and I hope you don't relent on your effort to achieve your efforts.earning online has never being easy but with determination and hardwork, you will surely get there.I think I will have to use the the model of @Awan Cheyanne to get some followers hope it also works for me.

Try drop shipping . I have read in article that people make real money from drop shipping. you have just to learn some skills of Marketing and FacebookAds, you can sell products without having a store or even stocking the Items . Howerver , If you are selling your own service, you don't need either to start up capital. You even don't need a website. You can sell your service through freelancer marketplaces.

Yes I considered it. But it is a goal for later times, and I have my plans, future visions how to make money from all this, when I get the number of followers when it is worth starting promotion. I know nearly everything about dropshipping. And you just said the magic words: Marketing, FacebookAds. These kind of things costs also.

I am doing just that on Upwork.

I've never heard about this one , is that a freelancing website ?? if it is what kind of services do you Selland how much the site cut for every sell operation ???

It is the most known freelancing website.
https://www.upwork.com/
I am doing Hungarian - English translations.
20% goes for the site. So if your work cost 5 dollar hourly you will get 4, and 1 dollar goes to the site. .

I have been on Twitter before with a few of the other websites I did promote and sell. Once the site was sold I just left the Twitter account active and never went back. When I joined this time I had a few follows I think it was 30 to be exact and days went by without a new followers. Then on my Home page I saw that Follow Help - it said if you liked, retweeted, and followed everyone on there they would follow you back. What the heck, why not? I gave it a try. I now have 800+ followers and when I have time I go back there and start to follow a few new ones that people have added. When I do t his I end up with 25 to 150 new followers each time. What I do like about this is that they don't unfollow you on the site. They actually stick with you and when the people follow these people they do include you in their follows too.

This isn't a hard way to do things and in the end I think I lost maybe 20 people from this. Not like all the other follow offers where people follow, get their points, go back and unfollow so they can do it again. These are real people who are also wanting to build up their followers so they know they need to follow so you'll follow them back. I think this is much more productive than trying these sites. If anyone wants to find me or the website account on Twitter look for @9to5workonline. Go and follow me and you'll start to see some of the follow band wagon appear on your home page. Just hover over the name, hit follow, hit like, then hit retweet, within a few minutes or less than 30, you'll have 5 to 20 new followers. Good luck and hope it works out for you. Go ahead and follow me on Twitter and I will follow back for sure.

I have some followers on twitter, which I have built up over time. I am not selling anything, but at the time was trying to get people interested in my poetry/writing blog but I didn't get much traffic from that, but I just kept my twitter account and I now have about 1250 followers. I have had so many people who have followed and un-followed just to collect followers and I find it so rude. Maybe I should try Follow Help but the I'm not that active on it anymore.

I believe it was 6 years ago when I did a cooking blog to turn around and sell. I did the twitter thing and joined a group of paying people points to follow. Boy was that a bomb and it sure didn't work at all. I learned a long time ago that the sites that claim to get you more twitter, FB and Google + follows are nothing but a joke. People on those sites are rip offs and will only do the follow for as long as it takes to get their points. Immediately after receiving their points they run and unfollow. That is why I refuse to use them. I found this way very helpful and it seems that the people who join in the band wagon of follows will stick around and continue to follow you. I do notice that a few of them may leave, but not like the paid follow sites for sure.

What are the points that they get? I actually wait for others to follow me and then later clean up my twitter account by unfollowing the ones who just collect followers, even though it is slower for me to gain followers right now at least some of them are from decent twitter accounts.

I did find out that the accounts that join the follow help or other band wagons out there now are not bad accounts and they have gone to the website I've done and posted or viewed it. So this isn't such a bad way to find followers and I think I'll stick with it for now. I might not get 10K right away but it is moving along nicely and it is fine if it is slower to gain followers like this for me. I don't have a lot of time to invest in this and it works out good for me.

Hello. Another post in my journey.
573 followers on twitter. I think I have chosen a niche that is not popular among the "follow help" accounts. So I searched for a bunch of e-books and will learn how to make high quality tweets and how to get popular on twitter naturally.
Another thing I just realized that there is a ton of these "Follow help" accounts, a few hundred. I am just wondering how they managed to get 20k-100k followers. All of them has that much.
Anyways, until I not get minimum 2k followers I will not try to monetize my account because its not worth it.

On Upwork I got the Rising Talent badge. I think it is good, but this still does not help me get jobs, so I will try freelancing elsewhere. I have an old domain and a website on a free hosting combined with a Facebook page should be more than enough for this freelancing, since most of my traffic will come directly from Facebook if everything goes by my plans. I do not even count on Google.
Thats it for now.

I think everyone started with PTC and tried the other ways of making money as well.
