According to coindesk , A Spanish based cryptocurrency firm , 2gether has said that they won't be able to immediately pay back to users affected by the Friday hacking that happened in the site .
A total of $1.4M was stolen from this firm on Friday .
2gether has promised to pay back users in their own native 2GT token , however they didn't mention the time frame for this payment .

paying all of that money of course will not happen immediately, it takes a lot of time to refund people all of that amount, but atleast they will do it, i hope it never happens again

Yea . they went into action immediately and was able to reduce it to $1.4M . more harm could have been done , if they weren't able to stop the hacking . secondly , paying with their token will be better for them.

I hope they are able to pay them all the money that was stolen since the money is huge and I hope they dont go bankrupt trying to clear the debt owed

That is why they have promised to pay the money without any time frame . They with be paying it gradually until they are able to finish paying all the customers affected .

If they don't give any time frame then it might take years before they are able to complete the debt and users will not have any confidence in the payment again

True , but $1.4 Million is a huge amount of money to pay within a year . if they have to do so , then they need to borrow money which will still be a burden to them .

I still remember when binance was hacked some firms made some contributions ,if other can assist them to gather such amount it would be better

Since they had promised of paying, I expect them to give the date that is convinient for them because their subscribers knows that the situation is beyond them .

Yeah , but then things were better , the economy wasn't as it is now . the pandemic has affect all the companies as well . I also hope they can do something , irrespective of the amount they will donate .

If their is time frame then their is commitment and even the companies willing to support may work towards that time from to donate.

There is no way they can grantee to finish the payment in a particular time because the Mo ey is huge . they will only be paying it gradually until they finish the payment

Yeah the economy and many thing is bad now but the less affected companies can help donate ,even this pandemic some companies still donate for the support of covid19relief

The fact that they are even ready to pay back the money speaks well of them. It may surely take some time but that decision will still keep people's belief in them.
If they don't pay they will be charged so they have to do the needful that's just it , but I still like their idea and decision its better like that

I thought they had pay the members back their money because this is more than 4 months ago that the thread was shared. If there is anyone following the issue should please update us.

It's not easy to pay all the members their cash in a few time so there have to be patience , they may start paying them gradually , but it will take time
