The price of Litecoin (LTC) took a turn for the worse yesterday with a major sell off causing the price of the coin to drop quite significantly, with the value of the coin on yobit exchange reaching as low as 161 USD. This however was later increased, with the price of LTC currently seeing a 10% increase in its price and now trading at roughly 185 USD. These fluctuations reaffirm the possibility for day trading with these coins and the need to buy the dip in these cases.
The market cap of LTC is currently 0.79% of the total market cap of all the cryptocurrency coins combined.

LTC is presently trading at $168 and that is quite expected considering that most altcoins have not been having a good couple of days.

Its nice it has started picking up again up to 10% increase, is a sign that the market have started making progress, this will also add to increase in investment.

Even though the weekend wasn't good for most of the crypto currencies, l could see that even though litecoin was affected, but its percentage decrease wasn't that much like bitcoin, ethereum and bitcoincash. And even with all that it managed to increase about 10% when most of the other coins were still struggling.

Litecoin has been doing especially well and it has provided a lot of users with a way to invest in smaller amounts and reap daily profits if you are able to trade it properly as well, which I think is a very good thing.

Yeah, I agree with you that day traders would be able to reap some small profits from the fluctuations in price of LTC in this past couple of days. It has been going up from $166 and even up to $190+ presently.

The market seems to be recovering lately with litecoin now up by 12.4% on 24h ( based on coingecko ), seems like people are really buying the dip and have confidence

Sure, many traders are trading litecoin and they are getting a good margin of profit from it. The good thing is even that litecoin is one of coins with very low transaction Fee and traders don't lose much in transaction fees for trading litecoin.

Yes I have noticed this as well. In fact I believe that Litecoin would be a much better payment tool for forums such as this one, as opposed to Mr. B offering Bitcoin payments, which can be quite expensive for their transaciton fees.

Yes, for transactions fees litecoin is very good to be solving issues relating to that. I'm sure Mr.B will look at it when many members are suggesting same thing like how the two of us are thinking.

It is nice litecoin is doing well again, I think this coin could really have a good potential with it's transaction fees not as high as Bitcoin so it's a proper coin for investment

It definitely is and i think that people that are investing in the coin have been able to achieve a good profit from day trading based on the fluctuations that have happened in its price.

Yeah you're right, and I think the coin can still do better that it's doing now, it's low transaction fees is important in why it has quite a number of investment

There's definitely a lot of room for the coin to grow in the future and it still has not reached its all-time high value. I think that the one thing that is necessary in order for the coin to grow even further in its value, is for there to be more merchants and stores that are accepting the LTC coin.

Litecoin will surely surge but it might take some time to attract more investors. But I know people will adopt it because of its lower cost of transaction.

This is really good i was also surprised at the rate of price increase in the county , because i knew as it fell down to $190 it was going to rise back again i think , only those that bought would benefit more

I agree, with the addition of more merchants and stores accepting litecoin, that would sure further increase its value and increase it's investors too so fingers crossed

I think that the good that those crazy fees on bitcoin and ethereum transactions would be doing is to give more attention to coins like Litecoin and gradually its value may increase.

Yeah, it is not only litecoin that we expect surging, there are other coins too and even as at now some of them are already rising will others are still preparing to rise.
