Over the weekend there was a drop in the price of LTC coin and as a result many were worried if this will continue into the new week or if we could see a bull market happen in this cryptocurrency. Fortunately there has been an increase in the price of LTC over the last 24 hours with the price increasing by 10.05%, trading at $216. This shows that they still tremendous profits to be made within this cryptocurrency. However if one compares to current value to that of its all-time high in 2017 it appears that the LTC coin still have a very long way to go before it reclaims the high that is previously had.

What is your opinion on litecoin as a long vs short term investment?

I think litecoin would soon get to $1k , i am currently predicting the movement in price of litecoin with the movement in price of ethereum , i just hope it gets there

For me l think litecoin is very good for long term investment, but it will also be good for short term investor because the price changes these days are quite encouraging for trading.

actually though, that litecoin has much support as dogecoin has, previously when dogecoin price hasn't surged yet, there was a lot more support in litecoin than dogecoin

This is true. There is quite a bit of change in its price over the course of a day, however since it is quite volatile over a day it is not a coin that I would recommend for new traders, mainly because of the reason that there is a chance that they may panic sell or panic buy.

Litecoin is better for long investment in my opinion. Its price is greatly influenced by the price of bitcoin, so, even if one wants to cash out on profits, bitcoin has to be doing pretty well.

It would be fantastic if litecoin could rise just 50% of the rate at which bitcoin rises. I hope it could achieve that sometime in the future.

Cryptocurrency business is good in long run, because in a short run, it is too volatile, and its profitability is good in a long run. LTC is still rallying.

I think litecoin's price depends potentially on bitcoin price also people start learning about litecoin. Very few coins come with when anyone discusses bitcoin. Media and newspapers also start covering popular altcoins. If all goes well like now, litecoin will be a good side investment

I think Litecoin is best as a long term investment. It rarely moves independent of bitcoin, so significant returns should be expected only if Bitcoin keeps going up too.

Yeah, after Bitcoin and ethereum I think litecoin has the most potential next to those two, I hope xrp bounces back though because lots of coins with potential would give investors options

You are right. In fact, I think we should look out more for altcoins because some are really doing well and the earlier you invest the larger the profits.
