As per Bitcoin.com, on Wednesday, the company stated that their e-commerce database has been hacked in late June and the hackers have stolen thousands of users' email address, personal contact info and order information. Thankfully, no users' funds were affected in this hack. Since then the company has patched the exploit found in their database system.

a lot of hacking in the cryptoworld these days, i hope it doesn't affect the reputation of BTC or any other coin, also it's nice to see that the hackers failed this time

With the daily reports on hacking activities . companies should buckle up and implement maximum security measures for their datas.

I think they should make means for alternative security to cushion the effect of those hackers and also upgrade their technology ,since this is very bad

Does it mean that these companies do not have professionals who manages their site ?
There is need for More companies to put up tight security measures.
I think they have only that there is no how those professional will manage the site ,hackers will still find means to breakthrough the system which is very bad

Just another one in the recent spate of high profile hacks. Though no customer funds were taken but info stolen could cost more than those funds in the long run.

Hackers are not in the game to hack only Crypto related asset , they hack any platform and request for ransom to be paid in bitcoin for annoymous cover.
