News gathered from U.today has shown that the latest survey conducted by New York-based consumer financial services company Bankrate has shown that greater percentage of American belivie in Gold investment over the next 13 years than bitcoin Investment.

The reason can be attributed to the high volatility in bitcoin. What is your take on this ?

It is very possible because of the volatility and the current bearish moment in the Crypto currency market because I am sure if bitcoin had not crashed the survey results will be otherwise.

I think there is not only volatility that creates uncertainty with investors. If you have a comparison, Gold has many centuries of value growth, while BTC is 10 years there. In addition, Gold can be a physical asset, that you can hold in your hands. How many of you even have their own keys for their crypto?
The last argument might be that gold has a real demand in industry - that is larger than the supply can be created. So assets you own, will increase their value over time.
I think that gold is an equal investment, but with a lower risk of price loss - which is also associated with lower growth opportunities.

As always, an investment portfolio should be diversified. This means that both gold and crypto together in an investment portfolio.

Valid points , very many people still believe in the physical assets they owned than the digital assets. People also use the current circumstances arround an asset to make decisions.

Obviously. They see bitcoin as the highest risk business due to its unstable prices. Whereas gold is the opposite. But gold will lose its value gradually and they'll try to get into the cryptocurrency marker but it'll be too late.

I think not only the Americas but also the other countries people are believe in gold, is it not because of it's volatility but because of lack of it's awareness.

None is disputing all these points you laid down here but the fact still remains that cryptocurrency can rise to millions within a short period of time which is not possible with Gold

I have put forward some arguments which might be relevant for the respondents to make a statement in favor of gold. In this context, it would also be interesting to know what the questions were exactly and what answer options the respondents had.

Of course I also see the value and growth potential of crypto, otherwise I wouldn't be here :)

I actually read your points and they are quite reasonable but then the survey was earlier carried out in 2020 which saw bitcoin getting more votes.

Just zoom out on the charts and we can see that the long-term return on investment in bitcoin leaves that of gold completely in the dust... not even comparable.

This is quite expected because even if you conduct a survey currently in the whole world Gold will always have the day. It is all about time that people will begin to see bitcoin as a better investment.
The older population will definitely choose gold over Bitcoin.

This is surprising because I never believed that people still have such hope on gold , well I think the survey was not conducted well I still believe Bitcoin to have more promising future than gold

Gold seem to have more financial security over bitcoin because of it volatility so patient earners might still prefer it to Bitcoin which is reasonable.

I mean ofcourse not everyone is aware of Bitcoin yet but im sure.anyone will want to own gold for investment if they can.. people will choose the one they're familiar with
