JustAnswer Reviews.jpg

JustAnswer is an online question and answer site that links visitors to expert advice. The site was started by Andy Kurtz in 2003 to help people connect with industry experts. According to JustAnswer.com, they answer a question every 9 seconds.

How it works

First, you must be an expert in a certain field and have certificates and licenses to show that you are qualified and approved to discharge such services. The website feature different professional categories where you choose one. Popular categories include law, health, and teaching.

As a professional in a specific field, you get to register in the industry of your expertize and upload the necessary documents. The documents prove that you are the person you say you are to eliminate quacks. If you are unable to verify that you are actually a professional in your specified field, you cannot successfully sign up on the site.

To start earning, you wait for someone to post a question in your specified profession and answer the question. If the person who posted the dilemma likes the answer and accepts it, the stipulated payment is credited to your account.

What do you need to sign up on JustAnswer?

Since it's a web-based service, you need a reliable internet connection and a computer. If you have these two, you can begin the process of registering using your full names and a valid email. After the initial sign up with your name and email, the verification process consisting of an 8-step process begins. To complete the process, you need the following:

A CV or resume in Doc or PDF format.

Information about your experience in the desired field including your phone number, company and employer's name.

Professional licenses and contact details of the licensing authorities.

Identification.

Your photograph.

How much money can you make on the site?

As a beginner, you will make about 20 percent for every correct answer accepted by the client. Over time, you rise up the ranks to make 50 percent of the cost of the answer. Normally, questions pay about $5 or more, however, the cost of questions depends on the profession and the expertise needed to answer the question.

Minimum payout

Once you hit the minimum threshold set at $20, you can initiate a withdrawal. The site has PayPal as a payment option, so, you do not have to worry about getting your money.

Scam or legit?

Ultimately, JustAnswer is a legit website that provides credible answers to real-life questions and pays the experts who answer those questions.

Perhaps this is right, it is very much possible that those doctor/lawyer are not real, or they just have some knowledge to share and earn from the site. We have to put question to know the quality of their answer.

Take a look around on the site. If you have any talents and are an expert in any field you could join this site. They are looking for people with knowledge to help others find answers. So if you are an expert in car repair, computers, construction, remodeling to name a few you could join this site. Just tell them where and how you got your experience and they will accept you. It is that simple and easy to join. It is just harder if you're a doctor or lawyer to join there.
thanks for the explanation, why doctors can't join as doctors can suggest health related tips, anyway this is a nice concept but unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge to particular fields.

It seems to be a great site. But i still have a question. Do you have to upload your degrees, or some kind of meterial that proves your an expert? Or you just post content, and depending on that you get your expertise
If you read what it said that all experts need to be verified. So if a doctor or lawyer you need your degrees, and others need to show work experience or other ways to prove you know what you're talking about in in this field.

I don't see that in the presentation, but thx for answering. Ps i didn't go to the site, nor read all the replys. Maybe that's where you said it will be

I saw this on the site. I was checking out the site and was thinking of writing it up here when another person had done it already. I did a lot of research on the site and I was considering sending in my certificates for computers and joining the site. Just never had time to do this one. I do like the site it pays well for your knowledge.

So do I. But I don't like uploading my info, every where. Please share with us your experience if you ever join the site. Thx

As of right now I don't have time to join a lot of sites and work on them. This site is one of the higher paying sites and if I had time I wouldn't mind joining there. However, it is not a problem to upload a few certificates to prove you are qualified for the job. If you have anything to hide or you don't want to prove you are qualified then this job isn't for you.

They will ask for perhaps better degrees and not just certificate, as certificate are provided for basic things, and most of old certificate will be considered as outdated unless one can proof experience.

You are right on this one. I did see jobs on that didn't require a degree, only job experience. If you work or have worked for a good company this can qualify you for a job on this site. The pay is really good and you'll just helping people by answering questions.

This can be good for retired doctors or hospital staff for medical answers; or clerks for lawyers in case of legal answers (region based) And any computer expert for computer related answers.

You know people can be an expert in gardening, organic gardening or other types of gardening. You don't need a degree to do this. There are a few topics on the site that don't require you to have a degree. But like it said if you want to go there as a doctor or lawyer they want to see your degree and proof you are who you say you are. I can understand this.

Looks like you know a lot about Justanswers.com , so what are you working there on justanswers.com as a doctor or a lawyer. Have you been able to earn from them as you sounds like a lawyer to me :p

No I am not a lawyer for sure. I am a data recovery specialist and computer tech. I applied there once and didn't have time to work there. I was asked by them if I wouldn't mind sharing my data recovery skills on the site because I am a teacher. I didn't really have the time to do this and I still don't. I have a lot of other things to do and I teach classes in a virtual classroom for data recovery. So I always need to make my lesson plans and teach people new techniques. But, I did see how the process goes and what they ask for. That is why I tell you this on the site because I had been contacted by them a few years ago.

I just introduced a friend to this site and he is doing quite well there. This is a nice site for professionals. it can be brain tasking but I like it because it also helps one sharpen his mind and brain to give better answers and remedies to asked questions.

This site is also affiliate with another question and answer site online. The two sites can work together and you can work on both of them to earn extra money.

Yes, good money can made but the snag there is one has to be a professional in s specific field it not the normal.guess work site that one can just walk through. one is expected to give expert answers to the question asked on the site, so no wasting time if one is no.professional in a niche.

Yes, I realize all of this. I understand how this site works. I also know that there is another question and answer site that is associated with this site. The second one mainly refers a lot of the questions there to Just Answer. I have also see a few questions from Just Answer appear on the other site too.

The other site you're talking about can any knowledgeable person work there. since questions on there are sometimes transfer to justAnswer maybe for more professional input.

Nope anyone can work on that site. There are a lot of people on it giving help and answers to people. Most of them are not professionals and they spend time looking up most of their answers online.

Site been around a very long time. I asked many around who have used it.. it seems easy but its really not.. But if you like it.. go for it. at least you know they pay .. Ill pass on it..
