JustAnswer Reviews.jpg

JustAnswer is an online question and answer site that links visitors to expert advice. The site was started by Andy Kurtz in 2003 to help people connect with industry experts. According to JustAnswer.com, they answer a question every 9 seconds.

How it works

First, you must be an expert in a certain field and have certificates and licenses to show that you are qualified and approved to discharge such services. The website feature different professional categories where you choose one. Popular categories include law, health, and teaching.

As a professional in a specific field, you get to register in the industry of your expertize and upload the necessary documents. The documents prove that you are the person you say you are to eliminate quacks. If you are unable to verify that you are actually a professional in your specified field, you cannot successfully sign up on the site.

To start earning, you wait for someone to post a question in your specified profession and answer the question. If the person who posted the dilemma likes the answer and accepts it, the stipulated payment is credited to your account.

What do you need to sign up on JustAnswer?

Since it's a web-based service, you need a reliable internet connection and a computer. If you have these two, you can begin the process of registering using your full names and a valid email. After the initial sign up with your name and email, the verification process consisting of an 8-step process begins. To complete the process, you need the following:

A CV or resume in Doc or PDF format.

Information about your experience in the desired field including your phone number, company and employer's name.

Professional licenses and contact details of the licensing authorities.

Identification.

Your photograph.

How much money can you make on the site?

As a beginner, you will make about 20 percent for every correct answer accepted by the client. Over time, you rise up the ranks to make 50 percent of the cost of the answer. Normally, questions pay about $5 or more, however, the cost of questions depends on the profession and the expertise needed to answer the question.

Minimum payout

Once you hit the minimum threshold set at $20, you can initiate a withdrawal. The site has PayPal as a payment option, so, you do not have to worry about getting your money.

Scam or legit?

Ultimately, JustAnswer is a legit website that provides credible answers to real-life questions and pays the experts who answer those questions.

This is indeed interesting. Imagine there are lots of experts who would answer questions under the sun. I have just visited the site and I have found out that this site had already started sometime in 2003 and is still going as to this year 2017. We should say that it has served its members/users for 3 years. That is a good performance years by surviving it. In one of these threads, I have mentioned about ASKMOKO. Its platform is similar with "justanswer" The difference is ASKMOKO hasn't been reached a year.

I used to do this on a site called WebAnswers which has now gone. I think they are looking for people who can answer questions on more specialised subjects for JustAnswer. I could probably answer questions on parenting or give relationship advice so I might just look at it.

This looks interesting. I could maybe be of some use in the digital camera and instruments sections. I'll have to check it out and see what the application/certification process is like, if there is one.

Sorry if double posting is not allowed here, but I couldn't quite figure out how to edit my previous post. I checked out JustAnswer, and for most of their areas, they require you to have around 5 years experience repairing or working in whatever industry you're signing up to give advice on, and sometimes even have a certificate/license to deal with the topic.

Unfortunately, I don't have any of that. I have 7 years of experience OPERATING a digital camera for video and photo purposes, but not fixing it.

I search about this program, indeed is legit but for anyone interested do note they require a diploma, state license, or certification for Health, Medical, Legal, Car, Heavy Equipment, Veterinary, Pet, Tax, Computer, Homework, Engineering, Appraisals and more.

I am into engineering. But most of the criteria they have for engineering does not fit into my options. So that does make me feel bad about the participation. I guess they need different types of engineering experts. And this means you have to get expertise as per their requirement. But yeah the pay seems good and one can earn some decent money in due process. So i think it's definitely good enough for many of us if we can qualify otherwise just better blog.

So basically this is a forum for all the experts around the world, not common internet users who just want to make some bucks for their activities online. Not suitable for the common masses of the internet, but it is worth a try if someone wants to try his/her luck, try using webmd and then act like a doctor and search for solutions people want you to look for.

This is really interesting, I can answer about anything. With knowledge in HIstory, Sociology, Disabled Welfare and others, even Politics, Economy and Religion. However I want to know if somebody actually got paid by them? If Answers are worth $5 to 20, then cashout might be more.

This site is where people search for feedback. They look for answers to their problems: may they be technical, IT, web designing, mechanical, journalism, psychological--relationships, parenting, family.

Experts who offer the best, workable answer receives payment from $5 to $20. And you get rated for the quality and quantity of expertise you offer.

Perhaps this might be for you as an expert in your field?

This is definitely worth a try. But anybody can share experiences in here? Are they really paying or just another scammer?

I will also ask from some who are actually paid by this website. $5 can be too high just for an answer, and if true, then perhaps they pay only experts, and not everyone.

This site is not for newbies like us,I just checked the site I think it needs more experts than mere freelancers.one needs a certification to join this site.

Great opportunity for experts that they need to write for them. Unfortunatelly we cannot give our opinions there if we don't have right diplomma for something.

I agree with with you, it's not for freelancers like most of us. However, if you have the qualifications they want and you are willing to submit it to them, then I think you can equally earn like others who have been earning on the site also. Their pay is not bad, especially if you give quality answers with a good rating, you earn probably the maximun $20 as said by OP.

It's unfortunate that I still have not graduated from college. I would certainly love to teach people and answer their questions while earning cash.
Study come first in this case, you should complete graduation and then think about these sites, this program looking for diploma, engineering and many more qualities, as I have learnd from admin's reply.

Nah, if I already graduated, I wouldn't even bother with online earning. I would just work offline on a stable job rather than these kind of stuff.

That is good decision, I'm post graduate and job in my country is not easy even I don't try for it hard to be honest. I will keep my online earning as part time when I'll get a stable job.

This is a very interesting site. However I am not well versed on the topics and so this site is definitely not for me. It would be great had they needed advice for topics related to business. The pay rate seems to be good. However you made no mention about the payment methods. I will like to know if the site is available internationally.

I saw in a certain review that they have recently changed their name to Pearl.com. Some other aspects of the site have changed like the application process. After submitting your credentials, there is a testing process and I hear the questions are paid at a flat rate. Anybody in the know to shed some more light on this?
