Two weeks ago, I came across an insurance survey by company Joany (Formely known as Impact Health). It is really a legit survey. After you've completed the survey, they will review your responses and maybe request for additional documentation to verify your insurance plan is still an active health plan for 2017. You will be paid via Paypal, Amazon Gift Card, or any other format you choose only when YOU ARE QUALIFIED.

Joany is conducting a very focused Research Study in the form of a survey to better understand the good, bad, and ugly of purchasing something as critical as health insurance as well as what the current experience is for individuals and families.
This specific Research Study is targeted to those that have purchased their health insurance directly through a health plan or through their state's Exchange. In order to produce valid research data, every survey submitted is carefully and thoughtfully qualified by our team of experts.

Below shown is the email I received from them after I completed the survey.

Though, I was not qualified through an email. But, they give me a referral link. If anyone of you here is able to complete the survey and qualified, I will earn 25 dollars and so do you. It's a WIN-WIN situation . The survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. After that, you just have to wait for their email to see whether you are qualified and rewarded. I think it's worth a try so I share to you guys.

Note: I think this survey is more suitable and advantageous for those living in US and have bought themselves insurance. I not sure when this offer will end but i think probably this year.

How do you Qualify: ( I takes this infomation from their website)
This particular survey requires the following:

• You've already purchased your health insurance plan, and is active for 2017.
• You purchased your health insurance plan through your state exchange, Healthcare.gov, through a broker, or directly through a health plan like Oscar, Kaiser Permanente, Blue Shield, etc.
• You don't receive your health insurance through an employer.
• You don't receive your health insurance through your school or university.
• You are not on your state's Medicaid program, Medicare, or VA health insurance.

This is an insurance company that is based in the United States. In order to qualify for a survey, you must meet their needs. They have posted on the site before the survey starts. If you can't qualify for the survey, you can register for the site and share a referral link. Each referral that uses your links and completes the survey will earn you $25. This is a great deal and I don't know any other company who offers such a high reward for sharing a referral link.

The survey showed up on Craigslist again! Seems entirely legit, got payment. They also gave me a referral link at the end.

There are a lot of people thrilled to receive a payment from Joany. But think for a minute - they must be getting the better end of the deal.

I am very skeptical as to what this company does with personal medical information. Their explanations are vague, and they want people to create an account with Joany even after the survey was completed. I am certain I met all of their requirements and they have not told me otherwise.

I completed the survey, sent a photo of my 2018 card. Then I received an email from Joany saying that my card was not enough, and they wanted me to prove I had an active 2018 policy. They suggested I send a statement from my provider with account and provider information. I sent them two email screenshots from my provider welcoming me to 2018 coverage and a recent (6 week old) email acknowledging receipt of my monthly payment. I have not heard back from them about my payment since then but have received several emails from them requesting me to create an account with Joany, and another email wants me to send them a list of my providers ("check to see if your Doctor is still covered").

What doesn't make sense is that the concierge service is "free". The only thing they have to sell is our personal medical information. So after filling out the survey, I did some searching online, and found one person who claimed someone tried to use their medical information in a fraudulent way, requesting payment from providers and claiming to represent those individuals on a medical plan, and this happened very soon after getting involved with Joany. Also, they said that Joany invites you to get a quote for medical service. This person said the quote they received from Joany was "insanely high".

Quoting from one of the Joany emails I received -
" A few things we're great at:
1. Finding a covered doctor in your network.
2. Fighting a surprise bill from your health plan.
3. Checking to see if your medications are covered."

Well, I am also great at doing these things. Its very easy to see who is in network, I've successfully fought back from surprise bills. I don't need their help, especially if it means spreading my personal medical information to parts unknown.

They are practically begging me for more personal information, and a commitment to "create an account with Joany." Meanwhile, I have waited 3 days since sending the additional proof they requested and have not heard back from them.

Beware, nothing is "free". I will wait for responses on this thread and meanwhile run a fine tooth comb through the copy of Joany Terms and Conditions I agreed to when completing the survey.

The craigslist ad I answered offered a $50 payment. However, after I completed the survey they now are paying me only $25. They have not yet responded to my inquiry. If they do not correct this soon, I intend to report this as a fraudulent offer.

This isn't a fraudulent offer. In the initial statement from the company, it states that you must qualify for the survey in order to be paid. They state the qualification that needs to be met before starting the survey. If you took this survey and didn't meet the qualification, you won't be paid. It is best to read the full introduction and what needs to be done before starting the survey.

The people in this forum who are making money from Joany through referrals are not doing any favors except for themselves. Putting Joany on top of your health care provider is not a smart idea.
