One of the main concerns for governments is that cryptocurrency is its own independent financial system and that if it is not controlled or regulated, then it can be used for ill gains or that it could even render the fiat currency of a country worthless, thereby creating a lot of economic global concerns. Japan is in support of cryptocurrency and they expressed this as well when they continued to hold and invest in ripple despite the lawsuit that was ongoing and caused the price to tank. In a recent news article japan says that it is getting serious with looking into ways to try and regulate cryptocurrency believing this to be the major step needed to bridge the gap between crypto and our current financial systems. What are your thoughts on this?
