In Nigeria , having a transport business very lucrative.
People while travelling to a long distance within the country normally prefer to use public transportation than private cars .

With the effect of this pandemic , the price for transportation is doubled which means more money for transport companies.
Is transport companies business lucrative in your country?

Competent drivers are not too hard to find. What is really hard is finding an honest one. The rate at which public transport businesses collapse is quite high and it is because of these dishonest managers and drivers who run everything into the ground.

That's basically the issue in my country. I know one guy who runs a very successful taxi service, mainly aimed at tourists. He's just brilliant but the people he employs to run his other taxis sometimes let him down - coming to work intoxicated, driving recklessly, causing accidents, not communicating with the customers, arriving late, not turning up etc The list just goes on. He, of course, doesn't tolerate any of that and the minute he smells a rat, he sacks them.

That's quite unfortunate for those into public transportation.
However , I do wonder if there is no long distance journey in India ? Do people still prefer to use their private cars for such ?
Well since i live in Iran i have no reliable info about India, but in my country people rather to use flight for long distances rather than any thing, if not they use their private car, thats bad, in our country fuel is available more than u can ever imagine, so air pollution is extremely high to death

Sure,it is.over here in my country its a big deal.the larger the population size, the bigger the market.transport business is lucrative here in Nigeria.

Without proper researching on the business it can be a complete loss. My mum once ventured into transportation, she imported fairly used vehicles and enrolled them with a public transportation company. The vehicles kept developing faults and the drivers were bent on defrauding her by all means. She eventually got tired and sold all of them off.
Exactly my dad's story. They promised heaven and earth before getting the vehicles but later showed their true colours. For weeks without end they claimed being at the mechanic's and several issues until the whole thing just packed up.

Transportation business is right in all the countries in the world and in my country Nigeria it is one of the best business to venture into. Some people make money even bank managers don't make monthly

Yeap It's profitable in my country. Cause, our country is densely populated. About 18crore plus people lives in this small country. Transfort related business is hugely profitable here.
Transportation is really profitable. I know because I have a friend who is into transportation and he earns a lot of money on a daily basics. People go to work and travel on a daily basis so it makes it one of profitable business to venture into

It's a popular business no doubt about it because people need to commute from one place to another and these days when people don't prefer public transport there lies an opportunity for private transsport which can be a bus, Auto Rickshaw etc and you can easily recover your investment in a few years and after that it will be profits.

That is transportation business for you. Even when people have little or not enough money for food, they still have to move and goods too from one point to the other
Expanding your products to other regions is a must, because you can't sell all of your stock in one specific place, so transportation is always an active field

Yes what you are talking about is when there is money to do the expansion,if there is enough money then you stand a good chance to open more branches for your business and make more money but if you dont have the needed fund its better to maintain one branch and money can still be made.

Yes, its kind of profitable. Here in my country vehicles are still carrying passengers more than the available seat and even doubled the price. However, it also depends if you are self owner-driver of the vehicle or employed driver.

Transportation business have always been a lucrative one in my country being it transportation business of any kind. It could be passengers or goods and luggages, they are or lucrative

NO, i'm talking about spreading your products in different locations, you can sell more and gather more popularity, also you can't sell all of your stock in one place

In some states its not profitable because motorcycles arent allowed to operate and there are places that its very profitable became people leaving there mainly use the taxi cab

Generally we all need to move and not everyone has cars and even those that has it sometimes needs to fly by air or move by train so they have to pay for the social Distancing fee .

Transport business is very lucrative in Lagos where I live. Right now transporters make double what they use to make before. I am thinking of going into it.

You can go into it because the social Distancing has increased transport fare though this will only last for a while and domestic transportation don't follow that rule especially in state where the pandemic is low.

Yes. it is the most profitable business. During this pandemic, they are charging double than the actual price. Even in local transportation, they are charging double fare without reducing the passenger quantity.:mad:

Transportation business is very profitable here in Nigeria only if everything is done like you buying a car, register and collect all their particulars and employ a well experienced driver and with time you see the business growing
