I was pondering on the privileges I have , to be able to earn money online , suddenly a question flashed through my mind .
Can the blind be able to earn online ? , part of me said no , but then I was curious to know more , as I have read once in this site , that there is a type of captcha for the blind .
Do you know of any site , where blind people can work and earn ?

That's a really tough one! I don't know if it's because I've never consciously looked for them but I've never come across any paying sites that make provisions for blind people. And I do A LOT of searching almost every day. It'll be interesting to see what other people have to say on this subject.

Actually I ha e read about one , though I have forgotten the name of the site .
The site and the blind person has an app that reads out the text , the blind person respond through voice speech.

Yes there is such facility, but not the u think, i mean you cannot find that in the website splitting a special part for them or such, there is a software for them acting as a translator my guess

some site now has facility for such, there is a software provided for that, due to the law made by the American that every website must be ..ADA Comply (Americans with Disabilities Acts) making site accessible to those with disabilities. many site already are been sued due to failure to comply to the law...which has caused them thousands while some millions of dollar, even more site are getting sued as the days go by. Thanks for sharing this , however I think this is more applicable to company sites and blogs . Am yet to see an online earning platforms where blind people earn from it .

I think this is a timely question,we have to consider the physically challenged aswel in terms of having equal access to these services.Am only a small proportion of countries have implemented this.

Well, I haven't, sadly. It's all very well having seen one but the OP could really use specifics, so it'd be fantastic if you could remember the site or where you might have come across it. I think it's brilliant that these provisions are made for blind people. I'll have to keep an eye out and/or search for these leads and hopefully contribute here to help out. If it's hard for some of us in Tier 3 countries, I hate to imagine just how much harder it must be for the blind.

Wow, $1000 into billions in 15 years?! I think a lot of people are hard up at the moment and while the promise of billions of $$$ in returns is very enticing, most people would be loathe to spend that sort of money now. Is this guaranteed? Because I feel many would agree it's quite a risk to take.

There is no way that blind people can make money onlie because their access is limited. I have not come across any website that is for blind people because there is even no web browser that is desiged to support blind people. We are still behid when it comes to that. Maybe there will be some ways in the future because techology is changing.

But with the way technology's moving, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened in our lifetime. There's also the huge drive towards equal opportunities which the whole world is trying to jump on the bandwagon of. So it's a case of watch this space.

Totally agree, however it will be so thoughtful if making money sides could consider that option.I am very observant i can confidently say in all the sides i have visited i have not seen any special arrangements made for the blind .Lets hope in the future we will see more of those sites.

Totally! All the restrictions and limitations are frustrating. But the world is shrinking and we're indeed living in a global village, so the online space also has to reflect that to draw in more people. That way, the world of online/remote work will thrive and grow.

In order to make online one must have the sense of vision as most of the stuffs online can only be seen and not feel, I'm not sure if a blind person can earn online that way

Very true, we should explore any means possible in order to bring stability, especially that with more people drawn online , then that means more revenue through the advertising platforms.

Exactly!! It's crazy just how many more people have now started looking for online opportunities. I mean, even people who would never have considered them before are now forced to switch things up and make money wherever and however they can. So, if we thought the competition for online opportunities was tight before, stuff just got real!

That may make them then difficult to earn money online.I think it will take time for the innovation supporting the blind to come up.At least they can be able to read because of the system created for them.If they can do so with a braille,then a braille with phone features should be developed then to support them.Although that may be difficult but with time and this great generation of ours some better alternatives will come out.

I think I saw a video in the past as to how a blind person uses a phone and her phone has quite features for the blind, mainly she hovers at her phone and her phone says whatever she is hovering at, kinda amazing, I'm still not sure how a blind person can use a computer or laptop

Yes, I believe there are any opportunities for the blind to make money. I have seen blind people engage in online tutoring through different apps like; Udemy, and Canvas. I have also seen blind people create quality video on the YouTubes and promote them through social media platforms. Even some are motivational speakers and freelancers. I've also seen blind people I fine art design and sculpture, where they promote it online.
