I write horror shorts over on Reddit at r/NoSleep and they are quite popular

I was wondering if there was a site I could sell stories for maybe a $1 or so, I remember there being a site you could sell books by the chapter but I can't seem to find it again.

Any suggestions would be helpful

you could definitely try sites like fiverr:
fiverr lets you put your skills online and get customers that want your service. here you could mostlikely do quite alot if they have good quality :)

otherwhise you could take a more unusual approach and make a website where you post your stories frequently. you can advertise your service on the side and if the site gathers a following you could eventually start monetizing it with advertisements ^^

You could also make "bonus" chapters and host those on a free blogger website, and use google adsense to earn some extra income.
All in all you are better off selling an ebook, it can make the most profit if you manage to get some kind of fans out of your stories so far on reddit.
Try to guide them into your own subreddit, grow that subreddit. (post exclusive stories there), and after a while bundle up your stories in an ebook and post it in the sidebar. Make a sticky with the information about the Ebook and why people should buy it. To support you, to read bonus chapters, to see the ending.. Get creative and think about what is fair to you and the reader.

I want to know what the minimum cashout? and does it pay with just bitcoin? and it's easy to get upvotes for your articles or there is no many actives users?

You have already been noticed and there are already several suggestions for you to follow. In my case, why not try Amazon for your short stories. I think they should be in e-book form.

I think upwork may able to be help for you. There are people who are ready to buy the short stories. And they tend to pay some ddecent income in the case. Though there is not going to be any consistency for the earning from that. You have to find option in such case to work out with the short stories in upwork like marketplace.

Several youtubers are taking advantage of narrating the short stories from reddit (OTHER PEOPLES STORIES ). The Karen and entitled mom, malicious compliance, and no sleep ones are really popular. Have you considered narrating and monetizing your stories on a video platform?

I think you should go with you tube. However, whatever content you have you need to reach right people to earn money in any platform. Engaged content is very important even for sell.

I would suggest starting a blog growing it and monetizing it instead of selling your creative idea for cheap allowing others to benefit greatly from it.
Also just like some here have pointed out, you can also start a YouTube channel. I personally i love listening to all those reddit stories on YouTube and i can say there's definitely a great audience for this.

If you eventually decide to settle for youtube, i would suggest starting now before story telling niche get over saturated on YouTube.

I will add my idea to the one you already have by now. Your books are your ideas and your work, why sell it for less? Why not make them into eBook and create your own blog and monetize it . you will make more from blog than just selling it out.

I think you should create your own stories based website. If they will be good and you will upload them regularly you will bring good amount of traffic for few months and then you will be able to monetize it.

Just a heads up on Steemit if you're planning to use it. You can't delete the content there. While you can edit but the original will always remain in the steem blockchain.

You can try posting your stories on Tapastic and gain followers. If you had enough followers, you can earn ad revenue and tips.

But if you don't want to give away your stories for free, you can bundle it up as a PDF ebook and sell it in Gumroad or Payhip.
