When designing a website, are there any particular guidelines you like to follow? (e.g. material design, the new Windows design, etc.)
I'm personally in love with Google's currently design: it's just so simple and slim, yet to effective in making the content stand out. It's also really lightweight, so it will run flawlessly on mobile devices, too.

It really comes down to what niche I am thinking of getting into, but in general the simpler the better. Sites have to be responsive now so they shouldn't be cluttered. Some scrolling effects can really be fun, and can give your site a more dynamic feel.

In general terms yes there are a bunch of things you need to follow them, presently AMP from Google to load webpages more fast. Responsive design, mobile friendly are important in these days, make sure to remove more images or make it to smaller for loading with a high speed on mobile devices.

Styles come and go. Following what's popular is a good way to look like everyone else. When you look like everyone else, it is difficult to differentiate yourself from the competition.

Personally, I prefer a style that is simple but at the same time informative. Meaning a style that's easy on the eye and easy to navigate, and at the same time packed with important links and information about the site. There's a lot of times when I found that a website's design is really easy on the eyes, but at the same time it doesn't have enough links that are important and useful for the visitors.

i prefer design to which user can easily use it, details can be readable, given that it is compatible with any browser and maybe design that is catchy for the eye of the user

I like designs that are user friendly, bogus theme and designs can really slow down the browsing experience, taking time to load and sometimes not responsive.Any thing light weight it preferable by me and the faster the better.

Anything that looks neat and well organized is the best for me. I don't like messy looking websites. Just like here on Bmf even the ads is organised well

Whenever I'm designing, choosing a style solely depends on the niche/ company or business I'm designing for, for cooperate design, I us google design, for ****** designs I use material design.

Depending on other styles, designs is not good for our site, better we need to plan and design by our own so it will be unique and brings lots of confidence for us

My recommendations for building a website are as follows: (1) an eye-catching front page, (2) quick page loading, (3) mobile-friendliness, (4) social media integration, (5) and an excellent search tool with fazzy matches. Hope this will help.

I like to keep it simple but solemn enough for impressing the visitors, especially it must be user-friendly so that they willing to spend more time to browse, it's better to plan and design by our own so it will be unique and recognizable

First of all, it should be fast and I avoid overwhelming it with too many different features. The background should be definetely light, and I always pay attention to the fonts. I am a fan of minimalism, so my websites are always simple and easy to navigate.

Use optimized theme that can quickly load since people dislike slow loading time. No need to be too stylish since people prefer simpler style, and also provide dark theme for better readability.

Designing is a very crucial aspect of every website and that is why I usually take my time whenever I am planning to build one. I understand that the type of design that I am going to choose his dependent on the type of project that I am trying to build. For example you are going to use a different template for some kind of e-commerce project and then another different one if you are building a news website.
