There are different terminology that we have to deal with in everyday life in business sector. One of them which is very common but have different in fundamental is savings and investment. Though from the outside, both look same but there are some fundamental difference between these two.

When you save money for your savings, you are putting your money for future purposes without giving any importance to the appreciation. The value of the money you save more or less will be same after certain time. While in case of investments, you are putting your money in the schemes where there is appreciation. Means the value of your invested money will increase with time. Surely investment has higher risk then savings.

There is a great difference between savings and investments of capital. Savings is keeping your money in a safe place to be used at a later date while investment is using your money to do something that will brings more profits.
yes there is a clear different between saving and investment, saving is just saving some money for something good but investment is the ability for you to plan and invest your money then it would bring profit

There are two separate words that have been used interchangeably. Saving is setting aside money you don't spend now for emergence or for a future purchase while investment (income investment or growth investment) is buying assets as shares, stocks, mutual funds or real estate with an expectation that your investment will make money for you.

There is a big difference between savings and investment. While you can lose your entire money due to bad investment, your funds is saved in the financial institutions where your money is kept.
The purpose of saving is to keep funds that you do not have a need for so as to prevent wasteful spending investment is mainly profit oriented.

There is a huge difference between savings and investments. Your investments give you monthly, quarterly or annual returns. But most savings don't yeild anything.

Savings means keeping your money in it's raw form because you have no use of it, while investment means putting your money in assets that will generate income and interest for you.

Yes investments ahs higher risks than savings but investments have higher profits than savings. The percentage you get from saving is so insignificant, sometimes none. But with investment you can make more profits.

Saving and investment may be related to an extent but they are not really the same thing. Investment means putting money to work for more money.

There's a saying that says you shall reap what you sow. I think that's just the definition of saving. Saving is when you save your money without expecting any interest while investment is when putting money in the hope of making profit.

From my little knowledge, savings is your raw currency that yo save while investment is the money you put into different business and getting returns.

Savings is money out aside for later use but investment is put into a business venture for the hope of getting return on the investment at a stipulated time.

Of course, there is a clear difference between investment and saving. Investment is putting money on something and expecting a bigger return within a specified time. Saving you're not expecting a higher return, just what you have saved.

Yeah savings and investment are two different things. One is about keeping your money aside while the other is about making more money with your money. Yes with investment the risk is higher

The difference between investment and savings is that investment to yields a higher return that savings. Savings in banks is worse, they give back peanuts.

Using money as an instance, if invest money on something, there's possibility of getting interest on it at the end but saving is just to keep money which does not increase or decrease.

There is actually a big difference between the two , I think saving could fetch you a specified gain ,while investment could fetch you multiple returns as gains , if you invest in the right channel

You have said it all, savings don't have the potential to boost funds or lose funds while investment either short or long term will always yield results.

Surely, there's difference between saving and investment. When a person saves in bank, there is always charges that bank remove at a certain period of time. That is bank policy. I would prefer someone should go for investment in which you earn in return i.e interest.

I also prefer for someone to invest because then they can earn interest. But saving alone does not add you anything. In fact when you save, you risk facing inflation issues.
