Ten years ago I was tutoring online my native language to foreigners and I did lessons via skype. There was a site , I cannot remember a name of a site where many tutors were giving their proposals. I know that I paid monthly about 2 $ to be tutor in their online school and students were searching for me when necessary. Do you know some similar site where we can propose our lessons to new students? I know that on sites such as Fiverr, UpWork and others there are similar jobs but I need some that is only for tutoting or translating.

This is a great idea, maybe one could teach other languages as well like chinese and french with English to have a wider viewership. This will be a good way to make money with one's channel.maybe I could find out about teaching my native language as well.

Yes, this is a great way to create passive income using youtube videos. If you could help people learn a new language in an easy and enjoyable way, they will follow you and will be waiting for upcoming videos.

Now, you can either find some sites that offer the service and sign up there to teach. The advantage here would be that you already have an audience so you won't have to work much for the promotion and make decent money.

Secondly, you can start your own course or even a YouTube channel and teach people how to speak or write a certain language. While this will take time to convert, it'll be worth the hassle because you can expand it later on for other things like Affiliate marketing and improve your earnings.

I think some of the time tutoring is kind of hit and miss. not a lot of people are into teachers who can get the understanding done. and for this reason we have to see that tutoring per student is lot different than single person.

im an english tutor before! and the payment is enough for a single woman like me! and you can really make a Passive income, by just tutoring students from east or south asian countries that have broken english, but thier are other Old people who wants to learn english ! not only in some asian countries in fact its worldwide!

There are many websites which pays us for tutoring languages and other skills but I don't think I can earn from it as it'll be harder for me but it's like a blessing for all as many can learn from it and others can earn as well.

I think that it is easier to teach adults than kids when it comes to online teaching. I think that there must some sites exclusively for teaching English to adults.

Yeah @Po1son there are many websites and there are many who are doing well and earning from it. There are many members on mylot who are earning well by teaching online but it requires a lot of patience and skill to teach and earn from it online.

Yes, but I would advise to go to college or uni and get some education before tutoring others. You need to know what your teaching and have some understanding in the subject. Good luck with your career in teaching

I agree with you on acquiring a little bit of education to enable one tutor effectively. personally I don't think any illiterate will think of tutoring another because most sites require one passing their test before joining. so a goof grasp of the courses to be taught is needed.

The requirements on most of these teaching sites are that you must have prior teaching experience and you must be well versed in the topic you are giing to teach. Moreover they will also test whether you are the right candidate through a selection process

Transtutors doesn't require prior teaching experience but just a good grasp of your subject. They also give testing which I passed easily.

I have never heard of Transtutors before. Is this site available internationally? How much can you expect to earn from there? What are the payment methods?

It is from an Indian company. It is both an online tutoring and assignment help website and they have lots of offers. I would have been working with them but my laptop crashed so am using my iPad to look for ways to earn.

So is available worldwide? How much do you earn from this site? Do you need to take a test before you qualify to work on this site? Sounds interesting.

I also have interest but i will be glad if answer s can be provided to questions asked by Roxana, cos it will enable us to strategies and also make decison on whether to tap from the opportunity or not

It's easy to find all answers related for teaching English online in most of the cases to Japanese students.

For example here is the add from company BiBo:

Code:
https://teflsearch.com/job-advert7167

Now that is just example of company looking for employees. What i can tell you (since my friend work that job) is that average payment is 2-3$ per 1 class (depend what company you get in), you can have as much classes as you want, there is rating give by your students what means: low rating = less job, higher rating = better price and more job.

And yes, there is basic interview but they are not that strict in most of the cases, all they ask is to speak English on normal communication level. They have no problem with accent or you not being native English speaker (there are exceptions like i-Lingo or similar High profile company who ask for degree).

Yes , it is available worldwide and pays by PayPal or bank transfer. I have not earned yet I only registered and did the test to see what activities are going on there but most questions are like 70 rupees per for a newbie.

THANKX . I WAS also looking for same yet I'm newbie in thi field although currently I'm focussing on my speaking skills and on vocabulary and grammar skills etc and planning to join any good site available for Asians !!.
Anybody know can we work on smartphones live video calling ???or its neccessart to have laptop or pc ???and what equipment need to talk face to face online ???
There are plenty of websites who can offer you that. Few of the most that I know are as follows.

1. iTalki - They mostly need english teachers and seem to have lot of asian userbase. You get paid per hour and based on sessions. So this does work out.

2. Verbling - Another teach english website with some decent rates. You may get paid based on students and ssessions.

Another good option I'd recommend is recording a course and then hosting it on Udemy. I am sure you'd be able to do much better with that format. I have tried udemy for one of the old course which is now defunct. Got few conversions. Now I have to try for new.
