Many times in order to be able to use a cryptocurrency for a purchase you have to have the cryptocurrency within a specific coin. Especially if you are paying at a online business they would only accept certain cryptocurrencies depending on which ones they feel would be beneficial for the business. However if you were using the exodus wallet they do provide you with an option to transfer between various cryptocurrency coins. This is very good however the minimum that you can exchange is actually quite high and vary depending on the pair that you are looking at. Therefore the feature is not as useful for smaller purchases. This was not the case in the past. Do you think that the minimum exchange rate should actually be lowered?

yes, i really do think that the min exchange amount is way to high. and sometimes very expensive in exodus wallet. i have been using exodus for yrs now. besides that problem, the wallet is great.

exodus does not charge these rates. the exchange charges these rates, exodus only connects to a number of different exchanges & uses their rates. so exodus really is not at fault. but the wallet always gets blamed. it happens in almost all wallets this problem.

The wallet is great because it does offer you a very good range of coins that you are able to store, however i think that their exchanges is also charged by them as well. For example the exchange may charge a fee of 5% and perhaps then exodus is adding a percentage onto that as well in order to try and benefit for the transaction as well. That would make sense in my opinion, but their exchange system is very expensive.

according to exodus, they do not charge or receive any payment from the exchange. its a free wallet to use. exodus wallet receives a small percentage of the spread that the exchange charges. see screen shots of what the google gods said about exodus wallet exchange fees.

Thanks for attaching the screenshots to this message in order to show what you are saying as well. I see from this that you are right. I guess that mine is just a personal speculation that there are hidden fees that are being added in as well, because i have seen the fees that are associated with some transactions and it is much higher than i am seeing when i use the bitpay wallet.

I now see while Bitcoin will still be Number one when it comes to exchangers, the gas fee for some coins are really discouraging especially coins under etherium block chain and the cryptocurrency wallet will definitely have its own percentage.
So if eventually you made profit you need to put this into consideration.

your very right. many times people dont take into consideration the gas fees, transaction fees, the spread & other costs, when doing a transaction or buying cryptos. that is 1 of the reasons way there is so much interest in developing a coin / token that will make costs almost nothing. not to mention that its secure & fast.

There is going to be fees that is associated with anything that you do in the cryptocurrency world ranging from the possibility of sending your funds to your wallet to using your funds from the wallet as well and i think that this can be a serious concern for cryptocurrency users if they are not careful.

With respect to what you said about the Exodus wallet I had to rethink and feel if there is a way you can analyse more by stating the difference in price by comparing it with other exchange wallet like binance and ku coin Inna given time frame.
Reason been that the price at times change and you might be unlucky to have experienced a huge price difference.

I do completely agree with you and right now what I am generally doing his that I completely exchange myself using a cryptocurrency exchange platform that I am very familiar with and then I take out the necessary cryptocurrency coins that I need for payments and leave the rest in the cryptocurrency exchange platform for future.

I may not really get your point though but if you intend to use an exchange wallet, it's best to make research on the charges they make for any coin withdrawal.
I know quite well that if you are withdrawing usdt the fee is fix and it does not vary compared to other coins.

I don't really know much about the Exodus I'm going to do more information and ask questions about it
It is a very good wallet system that you are able to use in order to store your cryptocurrency coins and the one thing that i think is very nice about it is the fact that you are able to store a lot of different coins in its as well without the need for multiple wallets. That can be very helpful.

i think to me they actually charge the Normal fees to swap ,I have once used the wallet to make transaction and send coin to my other wallet and I think I was only charged my normal transaction fee to transfer the coin ,I don't know if there are other hidden charges attached to the coin when making transaction

i know for a fact that exodus does not add any hidden fees when you make a transaction. they just charge the standard fees that the exchange is charging. exodus uses 3 or 4 different exchanges, i think. i know other wallets tack on hidden fees but exodus doesnt. exodus is legit. there are times when an exchange fee is ridiculously expensive. or the exchange can take hrs or even days to come thru. wallets just send the transaction into the corresponding exchange pool & then its on its way.
