With the bitcoin price that is going up constantly there are more and more investors that are getting into the crypto world and that is what is causing the increase in price. The question that i have, is that is this increase in bitcoin investments, and subsequently the price, as a result of legitimate and carefully considered investment, or is it just FOMO that is causing the price hike, and people are just buying bitcoin after seeing the price hikes that have already been witnessed.

FOMO is a dangerous thing because whilst it might be good in the terms of driving the price up, it can also drive the price down equally as fast, if not faster. What d you guys think?

People are buying bitcoin now so as not to miss the out of the possibilities for it rising to the forecasted $50k.

The problem is when Bitcoin whales start selling and people lose their money instead.

Well, from my own understanding it seems it is the purchases from the big companies that is causing the hike. I hope it isn't FOMO as stated by you too. Since it isn't a good thing

The main price increase is due to recent investment by institutions. There will be new buyers who are joining due to FOMO but I doubt that they can be responsible for the huge increase in the last few months.

Well, from you above explanation all I can say is, if you are a crypto investor, ensure you risk management level is high. By being able to survive and not lose your initial energy when the price drops beyond your expectations. The price and worth of crypto currency do raise and fall at anytime. But I cannot say it is caused by FOMO.

Every markets driven by Big investors and they control all the market and whenever they want the price goes up and suddenly they sold their share the price will drop. The BTC and other crptocurrencies are also handled by very big investors and they create panic and thus they purchase and sold and make profit accordingly.

There are several factors that contribute to the price volatility in crypto currency especially Bitcoin as it is the most popular coin although fomo holds a lot of Bitcoin but i kmow there are morw people holding the valuable coin
I think the outstanding point or factor should be supply and demand for the coin. Of course the higher the more demand it will be for investors which boost it's value

The prices that bitcoin has experienced in its increase is said to be largely due to the investments of large companies, we hope that is the case and it is not FOMO as asked in this article.

I agree with you. For every product or service the demand would determine lots of factors about the said service or products. Bitcoin generally shoots up in price when bullish shark investors invest high amount of money.
My opinion exactly, other factor might play a role but the forces of demand with it's supply is more pronounced when it comes to what drives it's price and vslue

These investors of great magnitude are the ones that truly drive the increase in the price of bitcoin, there may be some other investors by FOMO but their investments are not so determining in the price.

I don't quiet understand what you are trying to say. But I understand that one of the reason that bitcoin prise is increasing is as a result of big investors.

Yeah investors are in different categories. Which are the giant ones which can bring an immediate rise in their investment and the small ones that enjoy the profit from the little they invest so that's it

So we agree that bitcoin prices are determined by whales and the FOMO does not influence the cryptocurrency increases.

Thus, the price of bitcoin is determined by the investments of large companies and according to the movement that they give to their transactions, the bitcoin market will operate.

Yeah more deposit more high price and more sales less price I think this the model that the market is operating. The drop might be because of the high side so by whales

When those prices fall it is due to the sale of bitcoin and little investment in the cryptocurrency, let's hope that large companies will invest in BTC again so that it has a recovery in its price.

Hopefully we will see this happening very soon. I know these companies are looking out or still studying the markets to be sure they make no mistake about their investment
