Marketing is all about tricks and convincing people, but the issue here is that you are never told about the cons of a specified product till you experience that yourself, is Marketing a dirty way to advertise for something ?

Kind of, a lot of marketing tactics do employ some sort of deception after all, but at least in some countries, marketing practices are regulated by law and any rule breaker will be punished accordingly.

All what a marketer wants is for the product to sell.Often we ignore the guidelines or we are less informed about a product that is why we fall victim. Each product before released to the public must be scrutinized and approved for public consumption but sometimes we don't do a due delegency to ensure that it followed the guidelines. Its much easier for physical products because you can trace them to an actual country and address and each country has a public consumption regulator for products.

As much as I totally agree with you, the corruption that goes on in the so-called regulatory bodies leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. There are times that the marketers are even unaware of the flaws in the products being marketed. Due diligence is very important.

The fact is that most marketers will never tell you the cons of the market , because they won't want to lose you because of it .
However few marketers that value customer retention will definetly tell you .

that's what i exactly thought of too, i mean, even the nice behaviour sometimes is because he wants to sell you something

with this way, people will stop believing in lies which is not good for the marketer himself, so being honest can sometimes be a better solution

Just like MLM, the intention/ product is good but those people spoiled the whole thing by deception or just greed or ignorance.

Recently I was contacted by some telemarketer from a brokerage company while I was at work. I told her that I'm not interested to invest for now, but she was so persistent until I just told her off (i.e. don't contact me again) and hung up.

These people just never learn.

Exactly the point still remain that a strategy has to be put up,you just have to ensure that you get value for your money which in most cases is not the end result to the end-user of a product.

Couldn't agree more,it is very likely that an influence can be set up which can even by pass the laws of nature and at the end who suffers? Offcourse it's the end user.

Marketing is a way of advertising a product using various tricks and persuasive techniques. However, it can be a dirty thing when people employ deceptive ways to advertise their products. For instance, marketeers often lie and exaggerate a product simply because they want to sell it. It is after when people purchase it before knowing that it is fake. At times, the Product may not even serve its intended function and refund may even be impossible. In this case, marketing may be seen as deceitful. However, marketing itself is not deceitful but people marketing a product may be dishonest.
Your points are valid and it is a fact that marketing can be dirty but such marketing tips or tactics don't last long and the image of the company will be tarnished. One time sellers engaged a lot on dirty marketing

Marketing is fun when you have developed the requisite skill. Many people jump into marketing thinking its all about talking to people, but it's far way more than that. Aside the targets been given to this guys, Personally I like it.

As good as marketing job is it is good to work with reputable company as a marketer so you don't engage in dirty marketing because it kills marketing Carrier easily.

For me, marketing is okay as long you are being truthful about the product or service. Do not tell lies and do not over promise. Also ask yourself this '' Would I buy the product I am selling at the price I am selling it?''

Lies are inevitable in marketing if we must be sincere but they should be very minimal or insignificant such that 80% of what is said about the product is real.

Its not a dirty way if its been done well , some of those marketers do give guarantee of their product when advertising to their customers ,this is to show that their product is not fake , so its depend

guarantee is made because the machines make a lot of products and might make some of them broken, that's why people get guarantee

We have good marketers that are doing the marketing job decently and there also marketers doing the wrong ways so dirty marketing exist

Yeah machine do so , but guarantee also makes the customers satisfied that the product he or she is buying will last long and also add good bonus to your marketing

Marketing means you've to convince people right? If people don't convince, then it will be a dirty things to them. If they convinced then It's okay.
