Facebook's digital currency Libra was launched in June 2019 as a way to fight other cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, but it hasn't gained much popularity from the public. It is not fully decentralized because some major US banks and governments have some amount of control over it. This also means that it is not as volatile as the other cryptocurrencies out there. However, Libra is still a new digital currency and it can never replace the all popular bitcoin. Libra is still unknown and I don't see the point of using it.

They can start by introducing the use of Libra coin to pay for all Facebook services and also introduced little tasks to members of Facebook so that members can earn it and use it.

I guess they have the idea of doing so but just don't want to operate it maybe they taught people will abuse the priveledge and use that's it

I guess maybe they think if they use that not so many advertisers would love that idea since some are ignorant about it or dosent want to use the currency

It is better Facebook forget going into digital coins busineses but focus more on social entertainment and uses Crypto currencies to send and receive payment from users of his various platforms.

Focusing on new one is a waste of resources rather they repackage this current one and push harder to make it useful in the digital environment.

Yes, It is not a complete failed project just you advised @De-rector , if they come back to table and reorganize themselves the coin will still go through being a stable coin I have more hope for it.

true, also I think would also kindof damage their reputations already and reputation of the new coin if ever they'll just ditch libra and make a new one

The same mistake or more complex mistake will repeat it self if they decided to launch another coins so the best is to work on their weaknesses independently to fix the challenges and move on

Instead of putting it as a stable coin they could even create a form of crypto currency and re organise their plans to suit the jsrrd

Yeah and this will make international money transfer much more easier than it is now because lots of people are on these media platforms you made mentioned.
