Hodling or staking tokens are the trend these days. But I'm concerned of their stability because there are many in the market, especially new tokens launched recently.

Some will be around for few months and they just disappear.

It is not bad of you can hold for a short time after it launched then you exchange because some sites once they are done with ICO or IEO they don't exchange token again.

Staking I trust wallet is also very good ,I also stake my BBC that is to be launched very soon base on the Information I get via email from them

Yes it is profitable if you have joined all the airdrops. I am also holding lots of airdrop tokens in the hope that some day or the other I will get benefit from atleast one of the token.

I wouldn't know if you are holding this horizon Airdrop too, I have not been get email updates from them recently to know their progress so far.

Do you mean horizen faucet ? Horizen (Zen) cryptocurrency is already listed in many exchangers. Let me know if you didn't mean horizen faucet.

I will give my point of view. The tokens are launched in airdrop to make them known, therefore they will go to the hands of connoisseurs and non-connoisseurs.
If you keep a tokens for the long term, it should be because you are going to use them, that is, you need them for some line of work or investment, otherwise, you should obtain, trade and sell them at the best possible price.
You must have a short, medium and long-term plan, the tokens enter the short-term plan.
It is best to constantly diversify and move digital assets.

Yeah, it's a profitable option especially if you will have huge amounts. I'm staking waves currency on waves exchange site and I get paid for holding that.

That is different, since you are obtaining a profitability for those currencies and they are not only keeping them waiting for their price to increase. I consider that an investment

To me holding token is high risk but if you can hold good but before holding any token try and may findings about it if it worth it.

sell as soon as the price is right. holding long term is not advisable

Sell at atleast $5-%10. If the price is lesser than $5 , i suggest to hold the airdrop tokens for sometime. Because if you sell at lower price , there's not any profit made due to fees.

Holding tokens is profitable , if only you are certain that the airdrop through which the token was used will make it to the market , less you will lose for holding it long .

Yeah and it also depends on the team behind the project. If they are bunch of scammers or fake developers , then that project is worth nothing. I have lost some money before investing in some scam projects

From my own point of view, I don't like having tokens, unless the project has caught my attention, read your white paper and is aware of all its progress.
But in short, I prefer to trade them at the slightest opportunity

I once participated in an Airdrop for CCRB which was eventually launched bit I forgot to convert or Exchange my token after like six months I tried accessing the site but not longer accessible
