One of the key considerations when you open any business is the location of the business. In order to open a good business you need to have a good customer base and that will depend on the population of the area. It will also be dependent on factors such as competition that is good in that area because that will determine how many other options your consumer base has. Do you think that it is a good idea to build a business in a rural area or in an urban area? Both of them have their own advantages and disadvantages such as urban area has more customer base where as a rural area has less competition.

I prefer to open the business i am into in a urban area considering the level of development and you get to see and find people with high purchasing power that would demand your product

It all depend on the type of business your venturing in, there business that thriving well in rural area while others thriving in urban area.

Yes, i definitely agree with you. Some business may have better prospect in rural areas than urban and vice versa. The main success or failure rests on how well you have analyzed the market condition and supply demand channel. If you have done well, then surely your business will bring success to you.

Like what type of business do you think are thriving well in rural areas , because so many business in rural areas are really having low patronage

I think its good to open a business in a rural area as there is likely not much competition from the rural area as compared to the urban set up. Also a small business can easily thrive from a rural as there are not much licensure obligation and rental tax as compared to urban set up with a lot of tax obligations.

Its simple. You can't open a showroom of expensive cars right away in rural areas. That will attract very few customers. You must understand the market of that area. Rural area mainly a growing market. Products like groceries, home construction items, food items etc will fetch you better deal.

I think urban area is the best place to open a business than rural area in urban areas you will have a lot of people that will buy from you, business move fast in urban areas than rural area in urban areas different people need different things while in rural area they demand for one particular thing

Can you buy a laptop center of your own in urban area just adaject to 100s of other same laptop shops? What I think is that, it doesn't actually depends on urban or rural area. If you have the correct product and strategy and studied the market well, you could earn better in rural area also.

It's advisable to establish a business at Urban area or rural area because the both have their advantage and disadvantage as you said. And then the both location has the kind of business that suitable for them.

That is why I also think it depends upon the businesses, and the scope of the business in a particular area. Some business may prosper in urban area while some business accelerate in rural area.

Location is very important in the case of bussinrss. Many bussinesses just fall because of their wrong location. The location depends on which type of bussiness your are going to operate. I guess urban areas are the best for founding a new bussiness because there are more customers in urban areas to buy your item than rural areas.

Opening a business in an urban area has many benefits ranging from access to many customers ease of moving ur products from one point to the other, close to customers, having more connection etc.

Location specific business depends upon the product for selling. Some product might have high demand in the rural areas, and for that you should open in rural area. Where is some might have high demand in urban area.

For business, urban area is better. But I personally prefer rural area if transportation arrangements are good enough then it'll be okay.
I think any area which is in development mode is best for business purposes. Because in urban areas a competition will be high, virus in rural areas will not have enough consumers. But and development area will have a mix of both.

It depends on what kind of business anybody starting. Suppose anyone tries to invest in cottage industries then rural area can be easier for collecting raw materials.
cottage industry is very much profitable in our area that is why I know about this one. Since the rural areas don't have that much of facilities, hence cottage industries are the main sources of income for the people.

You made a point. But it depends on a business, not all Businesses is Urban area suitable for. There are many business that will need a rural area. though, the product may be producing Ina rural area and be selling it in both rural and urban as well.

I think this requires the business person to really weigh the options and choose one location that works best for them. The basic thing to look at is the market value of the location and your ability to solve your customer's needs through your business.

It's advisable to open business in rural area so that there won't be no room for competition. likewise you can have a lot customers since it doesn't have any competitor.
