What i mean by "Free Money" is those typically promotion you normally see with payment company, sales website, trading website etc where they usually state that signup and get free $$$ in your account.
Usually these is just some sorta marketing tactics e.g you actually get paid from money they make from you or in some cases the term and conditions is so unfavorable.
Most Internet savvy are already aware that this are just marketing strategies but am still curious to know if anyone have any idea how effective this strategy is.

I think it depends how much we are talking about. For me referral % promised are more important then free sign-up money :)

The life teached me one thing - "there is no free lunch". There is allways a catch of something that you need to do to take this money in your pocket.
The lazy man works twice, and the miser pays two times.

I think these free money campaigns are still effective and even profitable if done right.
In case of payment providers, if you want to attract loads of users and turn them into money-making users by giving them some cash to start off with, you have to make them jump through some hoops like verifying their ID or bank accounts and while they're at it you have to shove some attractive marketing messages down their throats in hopes of them staying with you instead of running off with cash. For example you can offer them debit cards that can exchange currencies in an instant at affordable rates compared to traditional banks (TransferWise debit card) or tell them that they can save on transaction fees by using your service to pay at popular online stores. Great example of such marketing is PayPal when they launched in 1999 and offered upwards of $20 for signing up and verifying your bank account. Read more here. Wrong way of doing such marketing is just letting people run off with the money or forcing them to, for example, spend 200 dollars to get 5 dollars of cashback.
In case of GPT sites most recent example is GG2U which pays you $1 if you sign up with them and earn $6 with their wide variety of offer walls to reach the minimum payout rate of $7. TimeBucks also did something similiar but compared to GG2U they made it kinda hard to reach the minimum payout limit for non-US people by having an inexsistent choice of offer walls. Another thing to point out at GG2U is their GG2U premium program where you have to sign up with someone's referral link if you want to get paid at premium rates.

well , it's still working , but it depends on the public you're targeting , if people are smart enough , they won't even bother touching the ad .

If you are thinking to promote with free money, yes it definitely works. I have a couple offers on my website and I get the most clicks on banners that promise a free sign up bonus.

You just gotta hook someone in and let them know the platform so your chances are bigger they will stay around.

Stupid but true, people dont really care that they can get more at another website for doing the same effort. They want the money NOW.

Usually these free money offers want you to do something in return, but a lot of people will do it simply because the website keeps dangling the free money offer before their eyes.

When I do binary trading in Olymp Trade, the're giving a bonus depending on my deposits. This is effective cause the trader will have a free money to lose or win. As for gambling sites, even they give a huge bonus, this is only effective for people who are in gambling.

it won't work in 2019 don't use that method

Who can say it won't? You can find many online scam programs and people still invest in it and advertise it to get more refferals. I don't why is so hard check some program online.

It will work if the targeted Audiences are interested in your promotions. Personally,I wouldn't take a second look on ads about surgery for any form of enhancement even if it comes with free money. So it works better if one can get exact target Audiences.

That's right , there's no free money as such. They will impose you lots of confitions before withdrawing that free money. Of course , it's a good business strategy to attract the people , some people will definitely try to get something out of that bonus

You are very correct in both online and offline ,there is no way you can get free money,

all money need to be work for and you need to work for it before you can see the physical cash.

It can be free, yes. But actually it is a way to attract you. As you said one of the marketing tactics.
for instance, I started to use Timebucks two days ago and they gave me 1$ for registering so I felt this is something to encourage me.

it's still working and I guess it will always do
who doesn't want free money right ?
Maybe we are in the field and we don't get tricked by those ads
but a lot of people and let's say 90% of population doesn't know they see free money adn they click and join
so it will always work

Yes it is, as long as there are many new people into online money making, it will always work, because they have no experience and no knowledge about how it works and they still don't know that making money online is hard .

As for me, l think free money promotion is still an effective way of attracting customers. But one can make it more effective when he or she gives a condition to be satisfied before the customers can get the money.

Yeah they are still very much around , the problem then is that these free money given up sign up are not withdrawal immediately , you have to work more or deposit more in order to be able to withdraw it

you are right! They ensure that your sign up bonus never leaves their system. At the end of the day, the only money you get to withdraw is the one you worked for.
