I'm wonder recently that blogging is going down and down day by day as there are more interesting methods have been built to seek information, I think youtube mainly become a great threat for blogging and it makes blogging harder futher more, when considering me I prefer Youtube video instead of reading blog articals to find information, and its been interesting and fun go through all the information I need.

so what is your opinion?

Blogging is not dead, as metrics keep on showing. People will always use search engines for their queries, and not every solution can be captured on a video.

The main problem is finding a niche that isn't competitive, having the patience to wait for the blog to start making money, and working on growing the blog itself.

Blogs will not invent new subjects because in every subject either food or medecine or mechanics or programmation or web security you will find a dozen of blogs speaking about the same thread. This is why people refer to old blog due to higher number of subjects if they still up to date.

To an extent YouTube has been a threat to the blogging world, but I feel it has to do with the individual consuming the information, because some individuals are wired to grasp concept of absorb information visually,so in such case YouTube would definitely be that person's best bet, while some individuals on the contrary are wired to conceive information in a text based format,so in such case web articles would also be the person's best bet,so whatever case it is,you would always have audience,so far you are dishing out quality and thoroughly researched contents to your readers

But for manner of monetization blogging still failing to reach required level of earning this means you could even earn from Youtube channel better from a personal blog as personal trial as people are more familiar with social media than blogging.

Yes and they're focusing on profits only. It's best for new bloggers to focus on growth first though it might not be convenient. It's a sacrifice that needs to be paid to attain something good in the future. Yes it's really frustrating if one doesn't get money from blogging.
