I'm wonder recently that blogging is going down and down day by day as there are more interesting methods have been built to seek information, I think youtube mainly become a great threat for blogging and it makes blogging harder futher more, when considering me I prefer Youtube video instead of reading blog articals to find information, and its been interesting and fun go through all the information I need.

so what is your opinion?

No doubt people love watching over reading, but this cannot be applied to everyone. I love reading and like to read articles. Don't know why, but when it comes to something informative or research, I prefer reading articles rather than watching youtube videos. If an article is well written then it has the ability to catch the eyes of an audience.

Yes dude , youtube taking a place more than blogging but let me tell you that doesn't mean blogging is not important but that happen because making videos is more easy than doing blog , and even though the money from youtube videos to the youtubers is than what they get from blogging , but still the importance of both of them , we still have a lot of people prefer to read more than watching videos especially with some important article like health and stories , also youtubers can find a lot different income resources from creating videos .

YouTube definitely is a killer for blogging as twitter was for google+ communities ; the important thing is that google+ had a moderator report button in them and Twitter never had and will never , google + allowed users and communities of people to grow , twitter is biased , communism is everywhere. A startup by a Rich is always to make himself more rich not to serve people any time .

Inasmuch as YouTube is becoming a preferred destination over blogs due to its visual and sound presentation, you can't rule out the importance of traditional blogs. There are sometimes when long articles are used to present a cause. In such cases, a blog will come in handy. You'll need to get viral and trending stuffs to make it from YouTube which is not always obtainable in blogging. For countries where data is still costly like mine, people will prefer blogs to YouTube to minimise data expenses to the barest minimum. So yes, blogging is still worth it now!

It depends on the individual. Some people still love to read because it's their habit and also comfort zone to read from blogs or books. But most of them prefer video presentation like YouTube or other streaming platforms to watch and learn new things. Vlogging is gaining popularity day by day with lot of people from young generation getting involved in that. So , it's true blogging had gone down after this vlogging has came into existence but it's not completely dead. There are still people earning full time income from blogging.

You are right. I also fear that blogging is slowly going into extinction. There are better and more interesting ways of passing information. Like you said, YouTube is a far more interesting way of passing information and most people especially the youths prefer watching videos that reading blogs.

A lot people prefer watching practical ways of making on YouTube than reading long article.
But blogging is fun though you can still generate income through Google AdSense

Blogging can never fade. Blogging still pays but it must be based on many factors before it can surely pay off. There is need to choose the right niche that our audience wants to read about. And we must make sure we use the right keyword search that will surely allow our blogs to most searched.

Yes that's right , blogging has lots of advantages and you can write a blog about yourself and hobbies or about project activities like drone flying and so on so if you as have some readers then you earn traffic and revenue which tells that blogs and its activity are never dead if applied properly .

We should not go into blogging because we want a quick money. This is because blogging truly may be frustrating. Sometimes, we many not make money as much as we want. This means that making money with blogging requires patience. That's why it is better to go for it out of passion.

I think without passion you can't do anything but only people who can do content writing and love to write on any topic with great research without wishing to get paid are only the ones that should do blogging where with little help or hardworking they can rank their websites ás well actually indeed .

Though YouTube and other tube channels is hampering the growth of blogging but it will not stop blogging from existing and expanding. While a lot of people like short video over written contents, blogging is the language of internet. Before movies came, we have been reading books. It is still difficult to believe that movies have not been able to stop us from reading. Bo matter what, YouTube cannot stop us from blogging and reading blogs.

Some platforms of blogging offers internal storage of videos because people could show educative content for free on Youtube while if it is paid section and videos are only available in your blog, people may then pay the subscription fee either 1 $ a month or 10 $ a month for subscribe to all courses or one course fee, if you are going to sell courses for upgraded users on your blog.

I never prefer video over reading quality contents. It gives me immense joy. Secondly, it is more economical than watching videos. Videos drain my data so fast that I prefer to stick to reading articles except in cases I want to learn something very important.

The price of mobile data has increased a lot these last years and it is true to view videos hole a month you need to buy a lot of gigabytes in your mobile phone and that costs a fortune. Sometimes you may watch some sequences of a Youtube video especially if it is a course to get an idea instead of watching 2 hours video.

Some people like reading and some like watching videos, and there's a cost issue as well, so why not serve both of them? You can always create transcripts of your video and more extras on the blog posts. Also, remember that if you have your own website (as a blog), you have more freedom. On Youtube, you can get banned and kicked out of the platform... and your videos will be gone!

I have a blog for ten years now on which I share my travel experiences. I can confirm that over the years the visitors to my site have reduced drastically, which has prompted me to start my own YouTube channel. With the advent of more sophisticated devices and popularity of social media and other apps like tiktok, people in general are more inclined to watch/make videos rather than reading.

This is simple. You may refer to your blog in the job description or Youtube video channel to compensate the decrease of the visitors or something like that, then subscribers may even browse your blog. This is an advice for you to maintain both of them.

The issue with blogging is the band wagon effect. Most bloggers ventured into blogging because they read that it's the new gold mine. It's better to forget about the income and build first. The money will come with time.
