According to a recent article that as published in the news it was believed that binance was actually under investigation by the IRS in order to look into the money-laundering that could be happening as a result of cryptocurrency. However, after releasing this headline and many jumping to this conclusion, binance released a tweet in which they said that this was not the case, and rather that they were collaborating with the IRS to try and resolve this issue and catch those that are dealing in illegal activity. Do you think that this is a good thing for the future of crypto?

Yes it is if bad people are doing bad things that needs to be stopped and while good people should have no effect on them , so its fine

Well i think many were spreading rumors that they were investigating binance and this affected the price of bitcoin , but if they are collaborating with irs this might affect the anonymity of crypto

it can on a certain exchange but i don;t think the completely anonymous nature of bitcoin can be changed , if trading is regulated its fine but with over-security it will make the interest of people drop and we might see low value streak for bitcoin in my opinion to be honest

Anything that could curb illegal activities using cryptocurrency is a good thing thing as cryptocurrency is infamous for some as being used in majority of the illegal activities

you are right i would support such things as well because the things that can make our society better should be supported , yes you are right as well , but people give donations easily to needy using cryptocurrency as well so it has both sides attached to it to be honest in my opinion
