Since the prices of BTC and ALT Coins become high, CPU mining became profitable under some conditions.
What are you guys using to mine? What VPS/Dedi's are you using? What coins/pools are you using? Can you guys share your experiences with me?

I tried a CPU mining program in the past but I got scammed, it's support reply was like "Sorry we have a problem in our program and you need to keep it running 24/7 because when you turn off your PC the program wipes your balance I don't remember what was the name of that stupid program I just tried it for couple of hours and never downloaded any s**t like this again!

This is certainly not a good one, and you will run at lost of your time, money and CPU efficiency also other resources, I suggest you try other means.

I don't know how it works, but do you thing it's worth to leave your pc running whole day, and what you get is enough. I'm new in btc world and I want to try that, based on what I read.

I was using Monero mining via a faucet, however it's mining is no longer working; the mining do not load in the main device, but it load in another device. SO this might be based on CPU itself if mining finishes there.

Mining is very profitable ?,,only hardware mining is good but its very hard to get started as its tough ?o get rigs, graphic card etc.
Although,,, my friend is earning 20000 $$$ Yearly by mining Etherium only in his home only by investing in Electricity ,net & in things required !!.- its profitable if u choose Eth hardware mining which is legal in these years 2018-19-20 sessions .
Thankyou !!.

I tried ETH mining also in that same device, but mining console was not loading. So do CPU mining ends too?
@Devil Singh your friend is using CPU mining?
No bro ,,, my friend is going to have farm to mine with groups like in pool but currently he is mining in his home using equipment like rigs, graphic card etc -totally hardware mining is it !!,,, thankyou !!.

I personally do not like cpu mining, aside from the fact thatbmost of the mining software requires high end specs, I am afraid that the heat that wit will cause might damage my cpu. This can even costs me more than I can earn from mining.
Electricity costs and damage costs may not give you much profit from it.

Some currencies like MOnero do not need much strong hardware, normal CPU mining is fine with monero; I have done this and this is easy to do with slow speed and less hash mining.

you can mine Monero and some other currencies with your CPU if you computer is relatively new and powerful.
It's better to mine directly with a miner and a mining pool and not on faucets and some other sites - they keep most of the profits and you'll make pennies. But don't expect to get rich..

Earlier on I was using only one computer and it was difficult for me to do CPU mining as this used to slow down my PC. I am now doing CPU mining on another PC and I am mining different types of cryptocurrencies. I also tried Android mining but my phone used to heat up so much that I eventually stopped.

I have read about CPU mining but yet to try it out the risk of using my PC is just keeping me away because it disadvantage like heating up the system and slowing it down and leaving the system running the whole day as stopped me for now. I believe one need a good system for this which I might try out in the future.

There are some specialized forms, which are selling special equipments for cryptocurrencies mining. As I have read,if somebody wants to do mining, have to invest some bigger amount of money, because the price of this special eqipment is high.

It is most times advisable to get another computer which will be specifically for morning or get the special equipments for mining, though most of us prefer mining freely without spending money which may bring very little return.

The easiest way to go through CPU mining is to use Intel Pentium cos it a bit cheaper with in the range of $70 and the return is very OK and another factor to consider in CPU mining is the coin you wanna mine

First off, mining on your main computer is a bad idea. If you are going to mine tho, there are a few things you should keep in mind to maximize that (potential) profit. When mining on your pc you need to take in account how much electricity you are using, so you dont loose profit.

When mining you have a couple options.

You can mine with a webminer.

Pretty popular options are:
Coinpot.co - mine various cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Dash and more)
Faucethub.io - can only mine Bitcoin, but if you find a webminer that supports faucethub, you can use that.
Cointiply offers direct payments to your faucethub microwallet when you reach a certain amount, and you can boost it with faucets. Faucethub supports a lot of coins, and is nice to use in general if you like free bitcoin, potcoin or other coins. (Check signature for some good faucets)

Another option would be using a webminer, or normal miner to mine cryptonightcoins.
You can use a specialized miningsoftware such as claymore or when you dont want the hassle of setting it up (while it is worth it to set it up!) you can use a webminer that mines cryptonight coins.
Why pick cryptonight coins? Because they are easy to mine for a normal computer, but very hard for mining hardware. That means that if you mine with a regular pc, you can actually see some returns.
And if you mine low difficulty coins with a low marketcap, you can mine a lot of coins that you can hold for a potential 2x, 10x or maybe even a 100x.
If you want to use a webminer I recommend using coinwebmining. By far the easiest site to mine cryptonight coins for free. Click on select a pool to pick a coin.
They support pools, so you need to make your own wallet before you use the site. So if you mine monero you need a monero wallet first, if you mine sumokoin you need a sumokoin wallet.
It is in beta, so the site might change in the future, but for now it works great. Make sure to select a pool with low difficulty for the best profits.

Mining satoshis is generally a bad idea, since you dont earn a lot with it, and it costs electricity to run a computer. If you prefer to go the route of mining Bitcoin in a web browser (you are actually mining Monero btw, the site converts it to btc for you) you should only do this when you leave your computer on anyway. As usual, you get wear and tear, so your computer might break earlier.

This is a lot of information probably, so it is normal it might raise some more questions. Feel free to ask them and Ill try to help you.
