Well, I don't know about the use of robots to deliver goods, what I do know is they make use of robotic mechanics in their warehouses. I think there is a documentary On youtube about it.

I don't know more about that if amazon use robots to deliver goods, what I know is a company that deals by buying and selling, and them also order from other countries.

I am wondering how robots will be able to deliver goods bought through Amazon to customers , do those robot have map of every where inscribed in them

Using robots to deliver goods can be possible. I think it will depend on how easily accessible the area is to robots, the complexity of operation of the robot itself, and the type of goods being delivered.

That seems to be so educative so they made use of robot in their wharehouse that is not bad,but the last time a freind of mind bought an item from them I think they uses corrier service to deliverd the goods so I dont know about the robot issue.

I agree with you to an extent but such innovations may have limitations, so I am of the opinion that the normal means of delivery will be better.

Yeah you are right, robot delivery might be what the intend for later but for now, it's not a common practice yet so fingers crossed on that

I have seen the use of drone to deliver goods but not too sure of the use of robots , because i think its due to the pandemic its been used to avoid the spread of the virus

I am so confused and fascinated by this question.
Do you mean Drones? Yes , In big cities near their own warehouses they did started doing it for a while now and have a project just theoretical as of now about drone delivery through either a vertical warehouse or a zeppelin warhouse / drone mothership.

Robots as the one's they've tested I think in NYC? No, they are too clunky, too slow and not safe enough from potential robbers. Project abbandoned .

As for the map? That's I think a question of lack of understanding of automation? Yes, Amazon has siri and google maps is a free software. Drones will scan and delivery to adress put on maps they do have Internet connection. I'd assume it's AI Based with human intervention in case of malfunction/emergencies.

Yeah its not really popular and only getting popular due to the pandemic , where the useage have increased to a high volume i think. ,that's it

Yeah the pandemic is also a factor when considering robotics as a delivery system, it would be
an interesting development now during this pandemic

I wonder how it would feel then when a robot shows up at your door delivering product, technology has really come a long way because there was a time these things seemed impossible

I don't really know if that is even possible, but it would be an awesome technology. What I am sure of is that the robots are being in their warehouses. But for deliveries, I really don't know.

No i don't think so. Because they are nto that advance. If they manage to do that then that means the robots are driving cars? Which is not possible yet

Well about Amazon, they deliver your goods to you through human beings for now and that's their agent. The use of robotics may be a future plan and it's should be a realistic one, because the world is changing fast with change in technology.

Does Amazon use robots to deliver goods?

Not sure which are the countries they offer this service.
I never received delivery from robots. But is coming days it will be most popular one when not only Amzon but many online marketing sites will used robot and it is better to say drone.

I think DRONE is totally different from Robots.

Drone is like a flying disc that is controlled from a remote location. The same applies to a Robot with a difference, they are more like a human delivery man.
